I set up a couple of polls on my blog and my Xtube page (Banned4good) a month ago to do a little consumer research. As part of attempting to make reality-based porn that gets men off without following any generic formulas, I needed to know some things about what you guys want to see in gay porn. I have my own ideas, but the recent experience I had in filming scenes for a major production company left me with as many questions as answers. Particularly about the money shot. Specifically, where it should go and when and where the bottom in a scene should shoot his load. The results did not surprise me. I know what I like to see and what gets me off. That is what my opinions are based on. I think the corniest thing in porn is to see the top pull out to shoot his load. That is not realistic and is so anti-climatic that it surprises me that it is so prevalent. Men are driven biologically to inseminate, spread their seed, breed, and it is what fucking is all about. Planting seed. It is a basic masculine drive. It is almost as disappointing as seeing a condom to see a hot scene end with a top pulling out and wasting his load spraying on the bottom's ass. Even if he does go back in after he shoots. It leaves me flat. I don't believe men are so unintelligent that they can't believe that a load just got deposited in an asshole without seeing it shot. For me, it is much hotter to see the top breeding the bottom, knowing that it is taking place by his actions, contractions, sounds, and breathing. That is hot. Then if I need to see proof, I'd rather see the cummy fucked hole. That is super hot. That is what I try to capture and will always try to capture on video. I have been told that it is too easy to fake that. But you know what, I don't even care if it is faked, if it is hot. If it gets me off, it works. I'm not advocating faking it in porn, but do we really think that aliens blew up the White House in the film Independence Day? No. But we liked the movie. We believe what we saw. Enough for entertainment anyway. And that is what porn is about. Entertainment. Getting off. Jerking off. Shooting a load. The polls were posted on the blog as well as on my Xtube page in order to get the widest possible range of opinions. The first question was how do you like to see the bottom cum in a scene. It was not a surprise to me to learn that on the blog 42% of you said that it doesn't matter if the bottom cums at all as long as the top cums and it is a hot fuck. Similar results on Xtube with 46% voting the same way. This supports my philosophy in creating porn that is realistic and I could leave it at that. But in both polls, there were two other options involving the bottom either jerking off while the top's cock is still inside him or cumming handsfree. Neither option accrued more than 27% of the votes (in fact jerking off with the cock still inside was 27% in both polls). But, I think it is important to note that if you add both options together (as both are options involving seeing the bottom shoot a load) then the totals are 48% and 50%, which is close but slightly more than "it doesn't matter if the bottom cums at all". I don't know if that follows demographic scientific reasoning, but to me it means that there are as many men who want to see the bottom cum as there are who say it doesn't matter. Almost half and half. Or possibly they are conditioned to answer that way because that is what most "formula" or "cookie-cutter" porn has taught them to expect. In my mind, it means both options are equally valid. I am going to stick with my personal vision on this one as I don't think it matters, especially if the bottom's cum shot is one that is staged or otherwise not part of the fantasy. If it happens naturally because the bottom and top are so into each other, then great, but in reality, bottoms are usually more focused on the top and on getting the load than they are on shooting their own loads. And the bottoms watching the porn know this. They feel this. The second poll asked about the top's cum shot. I personally love to see a top breed a bottom, meaning he shoots his load deep inside the bottom. This "porn created" act of pulling out, jerking off on the hole, then pushing it back in just doesn't do it for me. The poll supported my vision overwhelmingly with 70% of the blog voters and 73% of the Xtubers voting for "top cums inside the bottom, no pulling out". That is an overwhelming majority. Pornographers, take note. Your consumers are not stupid. We understand what is happening. We get it. We want to get it that way. You want to get us off, show us the breeding, not the "money shot". The 70's are over. Only 20% (blog voters) and 23% (Xtube voters) voted to see the top pull out, jerk off, then shove it back in. Some of my followers have made comments that my videos and my blog have an "intelligent" quality. I think it is because I don't stage things. I show what really happens in a situation when two men fuck. I've never looked at it as intelligence, but I get the comment. I like the comment. You will always see the tops in my videos pound it out inside the hole they are fucking. And if you think it is fake, fuck off. You will only see bottoms (usually me) shoot if he feels like it, not because it is part of the script. It is not natural for the bottom to have to cum. Bottoms are receivers by nature.
