Homophobic Attacks

I know my posts so far where revolving around sex but I have a serious side too. In my country, there have been homophobic attacks against gays by small groups of men. They weren't organized, just bullying, nothing organized. The police here doesn't care and nothing happens to stop it apart from the reactions of some people. If it was you who were been attacked. What would you do at the moment? Run away? Stay and fight?

In my country, we still have right to bear arms in self-defense; which is a great deterrent to gay-bashers. Unfortunately, there are politicians who want us to be disarmed to make us easier victims for thugs.
