In the book The Wild Boys, previously mentioned in this thread, there were two options for reproduction.

 

One involved some sort of cloning and artificial incubation. The author, William S. Burroughs, didn't do much to explain the science behind it, but it involved harvesting a very small amount of tissue from a well inseminated fuckhole for incubation. The sample would, of course, contain the DNA of both men. The Wild Boys had developed some sort of tribal ritual around the process, but I do not recall the specifics of it at the moment.

 

The second option was some sort of cooperative breeding program that, if my memory is correct, involved an agreement with an all female tribe. Male couples could deliver semen and then pick up the result 9 months later.

 

Burroughs explained that, as a result, an entire generation of "Wild Boys" had grown up without ever having interacted with females.

I am not but looked it up and will definitely have to check it out.

It can be a bit confusing in a few spots because of the author's "cut method" style of writing, but I do recommend it for multiple reasons. If you do read it, think of it as if you're reading a novel in the form of a newspaper.

It is worth mentioning that Allen Ginsberg dubbed the author, William S. Burroughs, a "hero of Gay Liberation" because of the Gay militancy, separatism, and revolutionary spirit that he promoted.
