Thoughts?  It seems like IML has really been ground-breaking lately - with winners in recent  years being openly trans, openly disabled, and now openly in a magnetic relationship...

More like a dying event desperate to recapture it's past glory.

IML has no one to blame but it's own stupid decisions for it's nearly complete collapse -- banning bareback porn sales, cracking down on room parties, banning any filming of adult content at the hotel, taking foolish stances (their anti-bareback crusade) and hosting the event in a bedbug ridden hotel the last few years.

It used to be a great event but the folks who run it were dumb and are now suffering the consequences.

I've been wanting to go (finally) to either IML or MAL, just to take in everything, so it's been interesting hearing some varying perspectives on the changes that have happened.  I certainly would want to go to an event where folks felt most free to express themselves fully.  But regarding the specific issue raised, congrats to this guy in his relationship.  I learned long ago that there was no reason to restrict my hook up/dating choices, because of status.  I don't want to miss out on finding my future sub.

I was wondering if now that Chuck Renslow has passed away there might be some changes since he was the founder of IML and maybe they might have some more realistic and less anti BB people making the changes and running things?  I mean I understand not wanting some of the stuff that TIM does that is a little controversial but pretty much all (good) porn anymore is Bareback so it is time they acknowledge that reality.

Lets see its held in Chicago, its not a real big surprise to me that they crack down on this event because after all they know what is best for our bodies.

MAL is becoming the same, just the past two years the difference is night and day.
