It has also been shown to be less toxic on your kidneys and bone density. Gilead is suppose to seek FDA approval to use as Prep by the end of the year. Not sure if that is really true or speculation. I’d love to blame the FDA but it would be reasonable for Gilead to want to use up existing stocks of Travuda. I have no idea about using it off label, but they really should try it for guys that couldn't use Truvada due to side effects. It's effectively proven, but not FDA approved, but supposed to happen pretty soon.
