yes, you have to be careful. I usually use warm water to flush clear, then dilute my warm beer enema to 50/50 for first couple of quart fills. Hold a bit.. until you feel the buzz start. With wine you have to start 30/70 (wine/water) and slowly work up. 

If not careful.. and planned.. you can get alcohol poisoning easily sine the alcohol is being absorbed directly into bloodstream by large intestines and colon.

 

It is a fun, quick and cheap way to get a buzz and enjoy a tasty ass. BUT.. you have to be careful and know what you are doing.
