Making Porn - What's Your Experience Like?

Here's my question to all posters who have appeared in BB porn or gay porn in general.  When you arrive at the set, are you given a choice as to who or whom you will be paired with.  I have a friend who did a scene for Treasure Island Media, I was only able to download the trailer but in his instance, he is a German (which is mentioned in the voice over) and he gets fucked by two other European guys.  In his case, he merely showed up, and was told - "have at it".  In other words, they could do whatever they wanted, no real directions, chems were allowed (can I say that?) but they had never met prior to filming.

So I guess my question goes out to all the posters that have done porn - what has been your experience.  Where you able to say - hey I wanna fuck with him! Or, let me have that dude my brains out.  So, guys, curious minds want to know.

I have been with one guy who worked for Dick Wadd videos, and he was paired with two guys he wasn't attracted to.  Obviously he did the scene, instead of flying back to Lauderdale to film for them again, he changed his ticket and flew to the Tampa/St. Pete area to fuck with me. It was a nightmare, but I was shocked that Dick Wadd would give him a ticket that was allowed to be changed.  Anyone care to elaborate on their experiences?

For studio shoots, this is often known in advance. Unless it's a gangbang that one-time performers are permitted to participate in. When we do amateur or non-studio videos (like for OnlyFans or some such), sometimes we do not meet each other first. We usually communicate by text, phone, or some other media. A lot of that depends on who is where at what time. 

Near the end of my first round in porn in 2015, I committed to making a film for an unpopular studio over IML weekend. My scene partner was this unknown German pig - I think Trubble was his name - and I knew nothing of his work. There was no JFF at the time, so we could go only by reputation or recommendation for unestablished performers. I tried to talk to him, but he had nothing to say, so I couldn't make any connection. At the event, Joe (the director) texted me repeatedly with some very curious messages. Something about lightbulbs. One said he saw me in the market and wanted to cry. Something about a game at Wrigley Field. I really don't know what his deal was, and Trubble's plane didn't arrive until late on the day we were supposed to shoot, so it was postponed for the next day. The next day (a Saturday, I think) saw nothing but delays and kicking my heels until nightfall. Since I was supposed to be filming, I figured it would be good to save my seeds for the scene, which meant NO sex at the event with anyone. A total bummer. 

Finally the hour came, and we were going to film in the stairway of the Congress. I went to the location, but was not prepared for what happened next. Joe had replaced me without warning with guys from the earlier gangbang because "they didn't have a condom restriction". (At the time I didn't know what PreP was, or if it was even available, and I had promised my boyfriend I would be safe.) So I missed out an entire day of things that might have been fun because he couldn't communicate. And when I saw Trubble, he was DEFINITELY not my type. I was not impressed or aroused or attracted in any way to this guy, who looked a little emaciated (if that's not too strong a word). My replacements were out of shape and past their prime. I walked out on that shoot. When I saw the video a few months later, I laughed my ass off at how B-A-D it was! I really dodged a bullet there.

THIS is what can happen when you don't meet the people you are performing with, and just do whatever with pairing up the scene partners. 😆

FWIW, virtually all airline tickets, until recently, were technically changeable, but with the caveat that change fees could eat up much of the value of the ticket. There are some extremely low-frills fares (and low-frills airlines) that essentially operate as nonchangeable because they cost more to change than buying a whole new ticket might.

Given the change from Ft. Lauderdale to Tampa, he was very possibly flying Southwest, which has a much more generous change policy. Any Southwest ticket can be canceled and the funds applied to another trip, as long as you make the cancellation at least ten minutes before the flight's scheduled departure. (Higher-end fares can actually be refundable, meaning you get money back instead of credits towards another flight).

Regardless, no matter who pays for the ticket, it's largely in the control of whoever's name is on the ticket. Refunds get credited back to the credit card used to pay for it, but a flight credit simply moves within the system; and as such, they're attached to the name on the ticket, who can rebook using them. In fact, generally speaking, the funds can ONLY be used for a ticket for that person, not for anyone else.

That's one reason among many that big businesses used to book completely refundable tickets for employee work travel - they could recoup the funds from any canceled trip and apply them towards anyone else's travel (or copier paper, or whatever). When there's simply flight credit, it doesn't do much good if the employee who was on the ticket isn't going to be traveling soon.
