Where to retire?

British guy here now retired in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

I suppose I am Anglo / American, having worked 23 years in Los Angeles so I can compare living in Los Angeles & UK

Firstly Malaysia is great for inexpensive high quality healthcare, it’s very cheap and easy to see a Dr , hospitals are of a very high standard ( I am retired physician), the cash payment is a fraction of co pays in USA , & unlike UK you can self refer to a Consultant

Living costs are inexpensive, rents cheap , food much less expensive than UK / USA

The only more expensive item is alcohol in shops , but in restaurants equivalent price to UK / USA

One of the best things about Malaysia is the attractiveness of Daddies to the locals ,Malaysia is a melting pot of cultures   Ethnicity, Indian , Chinese, Malay , Pakistani, Bangladeshi & for some reason they seem to like daddies like me

When I left Los Angeles my sex life was dead , on Kuala Lumpur I could potentially have a different man every day of the week, the apps are busy , the saunas are full

I would highly recommend Malaysia as a great place to retire, probably better than Thailand

Gay sex being illegal in Malaysia seems like a concern.
