PigBoyDallas Posted May 9, 2023 Report Posted May 9, 2023 I'm usually on Grindr in the mornings out on my jog/run and I'm surprised at how many guys proposition me with offers of money. Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered, but it seems most every morning I get propositioned at least once like that. I have buds who are on Grindr and they say the same thing happens to them. Is this new?
jeff238 Posted May 9, 2023 Report Posted May 9, 2023 Hmmmm. In a red state, with a psychotic governor? I smell entrapment. Just sayin... 1
UKFFBBBtm Posted May 9, 2023 Report Posted May 9, 2023 Nope, never happened to me, I'm in the UK. I usually get fuckwads that are up themselves and try and body shame me because they think they're gods gift and say I'm disgusting amd how dare I message them. Quite a few have reached out asking for money, they swiftly get reported as escorts and blocked. 1

Your profile says you were born in the year 2000, so that should be your first clue. Many guys like their tricks to be in their 20s. Don't be offended. On another site, Adam4adam, the term being used is "Can you be generous". Now I never had seen that till I moved from rural Florida into a city the size of Tampa/Saint Pete but if you were born in the 70s, frankly, this is something I see often. Usually guys in college or underemployed, it's a less than tactful way to solicit. I don't turn them in, but I do block them. Enjoy the attention, you have years of it ahead of you. This really is nothing new, people are just becoming more forward imo. 2

No its not new. I have by much older guys and only once I said yes. It was a fun kinky night but i was just curious how it worked.

VersGuyAnon Posted May 9, 2023 Report Posted May 9, 2023 I don't really know why I downloaded it again, when I bought a new phone. It's very rare that anyone ever replies to messages.
SpectreAgent Posted May 9, 2023 Report Posted May 9, 2023 Back in the days before Grindr and even Gaydar (God, that dates me!) we had the premium chat lines, where you could rack up telephone bills of £500 in a few days. And I did. It was so not worth it as the chances of actually hooking up were akin to winning the lottery. But I did hookup with a guy in Greenwich, south London. No pictures, of course, so I’d no idea what he looked like. Turns out I had won the sexual lottery as he was gorgeous and obviously loaded, judging from his apartment. After we’d finished, he wanted to give me £100. I didn’t know whether to be insulted or not and I refused it. He insisted I take it and I suddenly realised it was the paying for it that got him off. I’d become a rent-boy by default. I saw him a few times after that. And each time he paid me. I never felt wholly comfortable with it. On the other hand, it did pay off some phone bills… 3
badubydo Posted May 11, 2023 Report Posted May 11, 2023 Haven't been on Grindr in a while, but even in Cali I've seen multiple people on Grindr, A4A talking about wanting "generous" people only.
