STD symptoms the next day?

Recommended Posts

I topped someone during an anon hookup about 36 hours ago. Now the tip of my penis feels raw all the time. It doesn't look raw or red, but it feels raw.

Is 36 hours too soon to start feeling some kind of symptoms of an STD? The soonest I can get an appointment with my doctor is next week so I was hoping you all had some insight

Something's definitely wrong and it could be an STD. Chlamydia can have fast symptom onset. My fuckbud experienced symptoms a day after contact.

Don't do anything sexual between now and your doctor's appointment. Clean your penis everyday with soap, just in case the root cause is a skin issue.

Just to add… see if they offer a waitlist. Whenever I’ve had to wait a while for an appointment, I’ve asked to be put the waiting list and  I’ll get a text and check the app to accept or decline the earlier appointment.

Does anyone know how long it takes for HPV to appear in your body after exposure?  I have been trying to get answers for quite a while and doctors have been reluctant to give me some kind of time-frame.

Anyone have any idea?  Is it almost immediate, or can it lay dormant for years?

You mean HPV warts? That's a good question..

As far as HPV infection itself you just have it since the day you get it. Sometimes you can fight it off 1-2 years, sometimes stays there forever. HPV is site specific, meaning it doesn't move around your body and just stays where the infection happened... Ass, mouth,  throat, dick, ... For the ass is important to get anal pap smears to check the status of the infection. Most barebackers will be HPV positive and a small fraction will develop anal cancer if not treated.

Also make sure you get the vaccine
