This idea doesn't click with me. That's like if, instead of being blindfolded, you had little screens over your eyes and you're watching a Treasure Island video. Having a sense mostly gone and having the input you're getting from that sense unrelated to what's happening around you strike me as totally different things and I'm not a fan of the latter. I'm wondering how much I can get rid of hearing and foam earplugs don't do the trick. It feels like I need to get something else. Some noise-canceling headphones to put over them but play nothing? I'm not sure what to do for that but would love suggestions.
