I'm HIV negative and have an opportunity to bareback top  an HIV positive undetectable bottom on TASP. Should I do it? What are the risks? It's really making me horny... Any thoughts?

Shouldn’t be an issue to meet up and get balls deep inside him. Undetectable is untransmissible. U=U.  You can also go onto prep if you’re trying to be extra careful about that. I’ve done it probably few hundred times and never caught it. I guess it’s just a matter of the guy being truly undetectable, but it’s rare for tops to catch it…but nothings 100% safe unless you abstain or cover up. That just doesn’t feel good and not a great way to live your life. Fucking bare feels so much better.

I don't know how often you get to have sex, but if you've been topping bareback for twelve years, you've almost certainly fucked more than one poz undetectable guy (and possibly even some who were not undetectable).

As noted, an undetectable person generally* can't pass along the virus, even if he's topping, and the risks when he's bottom are even lower for the guy topping him. It's just not a realistic worry.

*I say "generally" because having said it can't happen, there's probably some unique set of circumstances (a top who has an open sore or lesion on his cock and an already compromised immune system fucking an "undetectable" bottom who just got fucked by someone who was himself detectable and with a high viral load, for example) where it *could* happen. It should be safe, but you have to be the one comfortable with the decision to take undetect poz cum. I know for myself I like any cum, undetect or detect, neg, poz…I just crave cock and cum

I'd be hard pressed to say I've ever met a barebacker who went back to safe once they went raw.
