Oldercumslut Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 Anyone have any experience with powdered lube that you constitute as needed like J-lube? Spending a lot of time going through TSA checkpoints and it’s annoying to be constantly buying lube everywhere I do and then throwing it away. Packing powder seems like a possible alternative.
PhoenixTriad Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 I can't imagine you'll be any better off with powder. I travel with Metamucil and the security checkpoints stop and search my bag every time. And every time it's that powder.
phukhole Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 I've been stopped for the bottle of powdered lube, but after a quick inspection it's waved through. Beats having to throw it out and buy more. Just adds a step in play prep and sometimes I have no blender to mix it up.

Good luck explaining powered lube to the 60 year old black grandmother TSA agent at secondary screening. But seriously, you could end up with SSSS on your subsequent boarding passes.

I have the tools, I could even put in capsule form if so desired, but that's one extra step and a pain.

wonderfulwoof Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 put it in tour checked bag n never worry hate taking anything onto the plane but me n my ipad
Oldercumslut Posted January 12 Author Report Posted January 12 I never check anything. I'm a travel with small carry on kind of guy. It's not the TSA part that I'm questioning it's the lube itself. Just ordered some, we will see. From TSA What is the policy on powders? Are they allowed? Starting June 30, 2018, if you are traveling from an international last-point-of-departure to the U.S., powder-based substances in carry-on baggage greater than 350mL or 12 oz. may require additional screening at the central checkpoint. Powder-like substances over 12 oz. or 350mL in carry-on that cannot be resolved at the central checkpoint will not be allowed onto the cabin of the aircraft and will be disposed of. For your convenience, place powders in your checked bag. The measures have already been implemented at U.S. airports nationwide to identify and prevent potentially dangerous items from being brought aboard the aircraft. There are no changes to what is allowed in carry-on baggage at U.S. airport checkpoints.
