Thanks for this .... I definitely endorse the VPN thing.  It will be interesting to see how China fares in the dustup with the current administration.  

It may be possible the presenter has a bit of a bone to pick (!) , but thanks for sharing this one.

A WARNING about VPNs in that they may enable geo-restricted access but they are unlikely to provide significant privacy.

You are right, but I have a better advice: If someone thought plausible that their bank is exchanging passwords in plaintext (or even better using HTTP auth in URL) should find a better bank. 🤣
