Thanks for this .... I definitely endorse the VPN thing.  It will be interesting to see how China fares in the dustup with the current administration.  

It may be possible the presenter has a bit of a bone to pick (!) , but thanks for sharing this one.

You are right, but I have a better advice: If someone thought plausible that their bank is exchanging passwords in plaintext (or even better using HTTP auth in URL) should find a better bank. 🤣

Interestingly enough, the New Arab is reporting that Pakistan's "win" in the ceasefire with India sent Chinese military stocks much higher, given that they showcased China's superiority in military technology for the money compared to India's US, French, and Israeli suppliers:
