After nothing but blathering idiocy about Chicago, it's Mayor, the Governor of Illinois, and who knows what else, it seems President TACO* has run out of oomph re: his threats to "take over" that "Toddling Town", in favor of sending his storm troopers to Memphis, TN.

This is in direct response to the State Government, the City Government, the citizens of that world-class city, as well as much of Illinois.  I lived there for much of my life, and I salute my former neighbors for their courageous stand against this man's perverse delusions.  I was a very, very small cog in the political machinery of that fantastic city for a number of years, and I remain a very proud (if ex) Chicagoan.  I'm hearing from many former neighbors, a handful of pols, and they're all damn proud of having the balls to stand up to the President.  Yes, Chicago has always had "big city" problems, as does every major metropolitan city.  Yes, Chicago has managed to keep the faith however, and gradually made life better.  His Nibs owns a tower on the N bank of the Chicago river, and I hear it's foundations are failing - just like the owner.

So, take heart, non-maga folks.  He can be stopped.

*his most recent moniker: Trump Aways Chickens Out (TACO for short), is in direct response to the State Government, the City Government, the citizens of that world-class city, as well as much of Illinois.  Faced with unflinching resolve by Illinoisans, he again has pointed his derangement elsewhere, rather than grow some shred of a backbone.  Fortunately for him, even he can recognize a battle he can't win.
