BUDDY is sadly only popular in German-speaking EU regions, at least for now. It's like BBRT in the Anglo world. Grindr remains universal.

There are over 100 million German speaking people in Europe. I don't think that qualifies as "sadly only". Buddy doesn't have the 'universal' coverage of Grindr or Scruff, that's true, but I find the quality of profiles on Buddy, or MachoBB, to be much better than on Grindr and Scruff, when it comes to bareback sex.
