I was the kid who always had at least 4 books every month when one of the Nuns would open up the box from Scholastic and hand out our books for that month! Quote

I think my fifth-grade teacher should have been. But I loved her. 1 Quote

Pozzible Posted Monday at 01:49 AM Author Report Posted Monday at 01:49 AM Ignore my long rant about Venice.ai the other day. The interface did select a new model for me, but the previous model was hiding in plain sight. 1 Quote
meetme Posted Monday at 02:35 AM Report Posted Monday at 02:35 AM I find AI obviously fake. Whether it’s written passages or photography, it’s fake. Reading about sex, I can tell, because I have had sex, and computers have not had sex. They talk about successful anal activity with no understanding of the prep required or the limitations that present themselves. AI is something that manifests itself in many ways we can’t understand and there may be some benefit from it, but when it is used in place of a human activity it is lacking and should ALWAYS be discredited. In this world, there is truth and reality. I question the benefit of false writing and deception. I will avoid it as long as I can tell the difference and I think that’s a reasonable choice of action. 1 Quote

I’m learning so much from my experiment. About AI, and even myself. Quote

So much AI is just about creating lies, seeing things that didn’t happen and that’s a very bad thing. Our government is broken and ineffective at regulating the modern world. Most lawmakers can’t manage the supermarket and the can’t be gatekeepers if a web of lies and misinformation. Neither can the creators be trusted to police their Frankenstein. it’s just fake and lazy, a tool of the uninformed promoting ignorance. Quote

And the concern about failure to regulate is what truly scares me. The possibilities medical and scientific research are what excites me most. Quote
