If I were in stag's shoes, I'd funnel my efforts and energy into being the opposite of what I hate: a man to pour his love into someone, like Gravestone and Derek, and mold them into a perfect boy to honor my gifts. I think you nailed it. We wrote Stag to be a selfish ass, and I think you'll like what we have planned for him in the main story. As for what's coming next, all the clues are there in the text. That's all I should say, and even that may be too much.
