It will be interesting to see if, at the trial, the DA plays-up the meth-for-queer-sex element. People love prurience, especially when someone else is targeted.

Part of the fallout here in Denver has been that the bathhouse he used to frequent (which was finally raided after his arrest) lost its lease and closed down several months ago. Personally, I was surprised how long it took for that to happen: it was notorious for being a place with rampant, scarcely disguised crystal meth use. I can't believe that the police were unaware of it, but it went on that way for years and years.
