Already have Red, Yellow, and Navy in my collection that I of course would wear on the left. Looking at this list I could easily slip a few more colours into my back left pocket!

In my right pocket you'll find the following depending on where I'm going (and usually in order of frequency): Yellow, Magenta, Light Blue, Beige, Navy, Brown.

Wow - it's been years since I saw that color code.

Being fairly color-blind, and particularly so in dim (or non-existent) light, it was never of much use for me.  Never turned out to be a problem, either.

BUT:  bear in mind that in Europe, the active/passive pocket is reversed:  right side means active, left side means passive.  At least that was the case last time I went on a fuckcation to A-dam/Berlin.

I do disagree with one item on the above codes. Biege or tan on the right is the rimmer and on the left the rimmee.

I have over the years judged several leather contests.  I often asked a bonus question where the contestants had to write down on slip of paper what my hankies were signaling, left dark/navy blue and hunter green, on the right light blue and tan/biege and a yellow bandana on my head. Therefore a daddy who wants to suck dick, eat and fuck ass, and everyone's getting wet. The hunter green and especially the tan/bigger were the most missed.

Well funnily enough, those are my colours too but worn on the right 🙂

I have always known it to be the other way around as this chart is indicative of.

You have just jogged my memory, I have a Beige handkerchief too, and by what you say that is one that I can wear on the right, so I must have been wearing it on the wrong side. Ooooops.

Once I am back on my feet again I think I can squeeze into my left back pocket as per this chart....

Light Yellow
Hunter Green
Fuschia
Light Pink
Dark Pink
Light Grey

.....to add to the Yellow, Red and Navy Blue I already have for the Left. And Beige for the Right according to @myDNA4u.

For me too. It has always been L=Leading, R=Receiving

Around 20 years ago ... Took the train out to Karow, to VK79 for a fitting ..., Mirco was still alive at the time ...

I wasn't aware of the pocket reversal overseas - thanks for that info!

I didn't even notice that from the hanky code image, but yes, I just assumed everything on the right is passive. So yeah, my beige on the right is definitely the rimmer, not the rimmee!

Well, as I mentioned earlier, that was some years ago .... maybe the L/r code has changed since then?  Fortunately, the way I found out was via a sweet, lovely young man from Regensburg - up to Berlin for Folsom - an absolute pig, who almost sheepishly informed me of the switch.

That's what I always knew it as in the UK

As is usual, here in the US we tend to think we know better than everyone else ... look where that's getting us ....

I have been meaning to for a few days to reply to you on this image @hntnhole, and see that you commented again before I got a chance to reply.... wait for me, ha.

Was the lovely young man from Regensburg high at the time when he told you this? hehe. I am genuinely intrigued by this as 20 years ago I was already aware of the handkerchief code and have always known it to be left for Active and right for passive. To quote two others on this image thread;

I wish I could travel back in time to that moment in Regensburg and observe as an invisible mass from the future, haha. I don't think the handkerchief code is used much if at all these days, is it!? Time to ditch our electronic devices and get out into the bars with our coloured handkerchiefs, just don't wear on the wrong side else it could get a tad messy, haha. Thank you for your food for thought @hntnhole.

Going by the colour code here it could be seen as correct with Rimmer on the Left. That being said I am a Top in all ways and with that I do not personally see being the Rimmer as being passive or submissive.... I am that Rimmer! I just LOVE everything about the ass; the glutes, the cunt hole, and the cunt inside. To me it is food and that not a single bit of it must go to waste. If it could sustain me it would be all I would ever eat, haha. Yummy! 👅🐽

Well ..... thanks for the replies - I'd be surprised if Hartmut were playing a trick on me, but stranger things have happened, I guess.

Give the weight of the counter-posts, delete what must have been a practical joke played on a sometimes rather dense man (or, single-minded might work too).

@hntnhole, awwwwwwe, you are not dense! It will just have to remain one of life's mysteries on how it exactly came to pass the info you were given. Or maybe everyone else including I are mistaken. Whatever the case maybe I can say that now as of today with all of my three ''Mix it Up'' albums now complete this became my favourite image as it sparked a very interesting discussion for which I thank everyone for! 😊

Well, @hntnhole the sweet lovely young man from Regensburg surely played a prank on you LOL. Take that as a sign that he was really into you.

Anything on the Left is Active / Top, Anything on the Right is Passive / Bottom. When I say anything it means any signs: armbands, hankies, bracelets, locker keys, etc.

Also, somebody recently asked me why I wear my ballcap backwards. Answer is simple: ballcap worn normally means Active, worn backwards is Passive. It comes from the fact that when a sucker kneels in front of a cock, you don't want the ballcap to block the way, hence as a sucker (passive) you wear the ballcap backwards.

When it comes to colours, there are people who insist on various shades, but the most popular ones are the red (FF), yellow (piss), blue (fucking), black (BDSM), sometimes Orange (chems). But like with anything else, better ask upfront to avoid disappointment:-)

I'm still surprised one colour hasn't been added (not sure what it would be), for ... bareback 😉
