“Other duties as assigned” that was on my performance appraisal forms when I worked for the US Government. I always got a 4, exceeds expectations. 😌

There were plenty of days it seemed that all I did were those “Other duties as assigned” (and I was a supervisor so I always exceeded my expectations. 😉 )

One year, my raise was so big (like $35,000), the merit system pay schedule required that it be spread over 2 years. At that point, I was a division head and had run out of road for further promotion, etc. (I assure you that the taxpayers got their money's worth from me....)
