I would not get on that bus as it's not real. The image is almost certainly AI generated. 

The text in signs is all nonsense characters. Cars are not behaving as expected (car on stairs). The whole image has an artificial feel. I looked for a tool to ID AI images and Sightengine.com says 97% certain it's an AI image created using GenAI.

I had to hunt for the suggestions you allude to, and yes - there they are. 

My position re: porn is, whether it's real or AI generated, if it's a hot image, it's a hot image.  We're not going to magically "get on" that bus or any other ... but if AI  can make pseudo-photos like that, I'll pause for a moment to give it a glance.

I absolutely get what you're saying. There are some AI images that are archetypal and fantastical and they are quite arresting.

I think my negative reaction to (realistic and hyper-realistic) AI generated images comes from a number of things. My brain is wired so that if something doesn't look right it bugs me (if something isn't plumb, level, or square, for example), and my husband gets annoyed that I see the tiniest flaw or peculiarity in things. Add to that my aversion to inauthentic images, sounds, or writing in erotic material and you begin to understand my reaction overall. I think for me knowing something isn't real when it has affected me initially feels especially problematic.

AI images that are not trying to hide that they are artificial don't provoke the same response in me. I can enjoy them fine.

I would hazard a guess that whoever causes these AI images to be generated in the first place, needs to "refine" the parameters of the program a bit.  While I don't know the first thing about how all of that works, I don't necessarily notice the background images all that much.  Many of them are deliciously hot, which fulfills the intended function.  

Maybe those who generate these images will gradually pay more attention to the background details one day?  Considering what and who we BZ'ers are, maybe the creators of these scintillating images only care about the sexual license the images advance, believing that the backgrounds of their work will be overlooked, and concentrate on the blatantly sexual content?  Or, like most "new products", the lesser details receive more attention after the original intent has been created.  

The fact remains, however, that images are fine, but no images will ever equal the satisfaction of we humans will get when we get ourselves to the fuckjoints and actually do it.
