  1. Unfortunately, gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis are easy to catch these days, compared to HIV. As a top, the most common infections are gono/chlam (infected through urethra), followed by throat gono if you perform oral. If you actively seek and enjoy bare sex like the rest of us, the truth is "you risk contracting the same or a new STI every time you have unprotected sex and/or have sex with someone who has that STI" (this is a quote straight from the CDC). Risk reduction methods for gay men like us mostly amount to the following :

    - choose your partner(s) more thoughtfully (hard to do if you attend sex parties and bathhouses)

    - openly discuss STI prevention with your partner(s)

    - get tested often, detect early, and treat immediately

I think it's just something you need to get used to.

It's the trade-off for having really hot/sleazy sex.

Whether the trade-off is worth it, or needs adjustment, is up to each person.

  2. Mine took about a month, from the time I started meds until I did a test 4 weeks later (which came back undetectable). However, everybody is different. Bottom line: there's absolutely no way to give you an answer unless the guy gets his VL checked up. Some people have a sharp drop in VL in the beginning, then level off in the 50-1000 level for months before getting undetectable. Some people take years, or simply don't respond well to certain medications. Others get to undetectable in a matter of weeks. No one will have the respond or timeline to a given antiretroviral med.

  3. Its a shame that the pics are hotter than the video. How did they manage to make it so boring. I agree the set up is very hot.

I agree; the setup is hot but the studio did a poor job matching the mood.

TIM / Paul Morris could easily turn this set into something very wild.

Something akin to this goes on at horse fairs or `fickstutenmarkts` - however this would be great to attend as a bottom with lower lighting.

I didn't hear about 'Fickstutenmarkts' until now.

    What a nice concept !

  4. Just ran across this hot porn and thought I'd share here. These are like gloryholes taken to the next level.

Blew quite a few loads watching this.

I don't know if all tops would find this concept appealing (some prefer to see face or perhaps blindfolded in a sling). But as a bottom, it's a total turn on to imagine a sauna full of throbbing dicks fucking your hole from the other room. It feels so anonymous. You can see some guys doing mostly oral. Others are meant to be fucked and loaded (legs up). One guy is bent over. Another is placed high up to be rimmed / fingered only.

Who here would climb into one of these booths in a heartbeat? hehe. Someone needs to build this for real. I bet people would line up if it existed.

  5. As an insecure, visible minority gay guy, I often relied on other people's approval or wild sexual satisfaction to define my self-worth. When the diagnosis hit me, I immediately had depressive symptoms. I also lost my mind a bit. I was convinced I would remain an outcast for the rest of life. My paranoia even got me banned from this place for a couple days. Things got 100% better when I started medication and became undetectable. Lots of therapy. Some support on this site as well. HIV doesn't have to be a lonely experience if you have the humble courage to seek help and connect with other poz guys.

  6. That second one is from "22 Loads Gangbang" by Knightbreeders.

I have that first one saved as well -- I labeled it as found on Xtube from a deleted user named "jaykyle69" but I assume it's not pure amateur. Have seen one or two of the tops in other movies.

That's it for the second one! Thanks.  :2thumbs:

The first one is hard to find. Do you know which other clips the tops appeared in?

Posting more screencaps in case someone can identify the video:

  7. I've been watching these two videos for a while.

Does anyone recognize the name/studio or can identify the actors in it?

The first one is called 'Shuffle Sex Party' or 'Gangbang by rotation' on some sites, but that's not the real title. It's a guy getting fucked by a bunch of tops in a hotel room. It looks like a Treasure Island video, but I don't think it actually is.

The second is a latino/spanish bottom being passed around by a bunch of older tops. The title is so generic, it's impossible to find.

If anyone knows where these are from, let me know.

I'm trying to find better quality versions.

  8. my answer isn't that interesting but here goes :

    1. the diagnosis led to the worst six months of my life (depression, isolation, suicide attempt, on top of financial problems which have since straightened out)

    2. today I'm actually in better health and shape than I would've been. habits change everything. better diet. more activities. more frequent and better health care. and an oddly liberating outlook on life.

    3. oh, the thread said aside from sex... PM me if you're curious to know how my sex life changed ;-)

  9. [...] your negative status doesn't mean a whole lot unless you met the guy in the lobby of the clinic where you both just got negative results - or you are wiling to show a guy your recent test results when they walk through the door. [...]

Whenever a scared neg guy tells me he only wants to do bareback with other negs, I often have to explain the difference between a rapid test, which detects antibodies with an immediate result, and an RNA test, which detects the virus itself but can take 1-2 weeks to return results.  I'm baffled how many guys think a rapid HIV test means they're somehow safe for the next 3 months, when in fact, there's a window period that they don't know about (2-to-8 week window during which a newly poz guy, unbeknownst to him,  can still test negative).  Many guys won't believe you if you mention these facts.  One even told me "well, if you know all these things, how come you're poz?"  :(

Well, as are many, many tops, I am still negative.  Guys on meds are my men of choice--guys who are screened for syph and the rest of the STI's in with their regular blood work.  Is it fool proof? Of course not.  But I have been playing this way for a very long time.  It cuts down on STI's and I am fine with the tiny, tiny hiv risk.

I wish all tops thought like you. :)  It's true though : only a small proportion of sexually active gay men in my city actually have their full blood work done on a regular basis, and I would bet the majority of them are the undetectables.

I have to agree with almost everyone so far.  #1 - Neg for Neg people, as the old saying goes, are living in a fool's paradise.  #2 As a neg prep person, guys on meds (poz or prep) are my choice as well, but had to change my status to "ask me" as poz guys wouldn't approach me.

It's too bad that poz guys reject you on the basis that you're neg + on PrEP. I'm actually the opposite. I seek  neg + PrEP and undetectable (like myself). I'm wondering how many "Ask me" are actually on PrEP - and whether I'm missing out by treating "Ask me" as a red flag.

  10. BBRT has all those options and more...

Yes BBRT has the most options (too many actually).

"Do not care" and "Not sure"... WTF. Whoever runs BBRT, please get rid of it.

If someone truly doesn't care and isn't sure, then he should pick "ask me" (in which case I automatically treat as a red flag, whether it's true or not).

About the status, I was referring to mainstream apps like Grindr, Jack'd... especially gay411 where I live.

They ask you to choose between "poz", "neg" and "prefer not to say" and that's really old mentality.

At minimum, undetectable and neg on PrEP need to become options everywhere.

  11. Phew at least there seems to be consensus here.

Neg/neg serosorting doesn't make sense when you're going to a bareback orgy.

I guess the decision is more fear-driven than anything else. I understand their desire to stay neg, but they're so mistaken.

I really liked the approach taken by the app Hornet last year, when they added "Negative: on PrEP" and "Positive: undetectable".

I hope more mainstream sites follow suit, like Grindr.

In my opinion, BBRT can keep "Ask me", but they should absolutely get rid of "Do not care" and "Not sure".

I went to a pretty big bareback sex party this winter.

It was in 2-bedroom hotel suite, and at its full capacity, there were easily 50-60 guys in the place.

Picture a living room full of bags and clothes, piles of fresh towels for the tops, and moaning coming from each corner of the room.

I was one of the 'designated' bottoms - getting there early, helping set up and I could spend the night there.

    Not much sleep of course.

Party started at 8 PM. At 3 AM I was still getting pounded as the place started to empty out.

There were some slower moments throughout the night, but for the most part, it was non-stop fucking.

It was still the sluttiest, most thrilling experience I had so far.

If things go well, your hole is not sore, it's just really open, wet and sloppy - exactly how most tops liked it.

I didn't count how many loads, but I remember at least twenty or so guys/faces fucking me.

If the tops are taking turns and fucking hard, you lose track of time easily after 10 minutes.

It's a very deep and raw feeling - almost animalistic. Hard to explain fully.

Whoever is fucking you also doesn't matter anymore. You just feel the cocks, one after the other.

Some guys told me that's why they like blindfolds - something I might try next time.

You feel degraded, slutty, objectified and you accept that you're basically just two holes on all fours for the night.

I've been telling a lot of guys, tops and bottoms, that being a bareback cum dump bottom is like climbing a sexual Everest.

I think it's one of the most masculine / raw / sexual thing you can experience, despite whatever names some guys might call you (slut or boy).

  13. Title says it all.

I was looking at party ads on BBRT, and some guys who are HIV-neg seem happy to join bareback orgies, yet their profiles say they want to play with "neg only". How does that even work? Are they genuinely scared of poz, or is it because they'd rather not know?

What really bothers me is that, sometimes, I will message a guy who's heading to the same party as I am, and after looking at my profile, he'll say I better not approach him because I'm poz. So it looks like he has no problem with "ask me" or "no preference"... but he won't touch an undetectable guy. Sigh.

I used to confront people like that and try to convince them I'm no less a danger to him than some random 'neg' who might actually be infected and have no idea what his status is. But I gave up a long time ago. It's like they're not even interested to find out...

Anyone find the concept of seeking "neg only" way off the mark on a site like BBRT ?

  14. Just a few random updates from a poz guy in MTL :

I've now been on treatment for over 6 months, still undetectable, and t-cell count has steadily increased since then! The only thing I need to work on is my weight. I'm only 105 lbs, but that's better than the 90 lbs I used to weight after going through depression last summer.

Also, I'm not sure about other meds, but because I'm on Tivicay/Kivexa (and soon Triumeq), the minimum at my clinic is changing from bi-annual to annual viral load checks!  Assuming I don't change meds, I don't hook up left and right, and I don't have other medical conditions, I only need to worry about viral loads once a year. That said, I will probably head back at least twice a year. 12 months seems like a long time in between visits.

As far as sex, it's a different story now. I'm starting to enjoy the perks, but I try to be careful. :)

    Dating in MTL still sucks.
