In the US at least medical records are sealed, even to parents. Even if the parents insurance pays for it. Also Gilead offers payment for low income individuals, so people can get on it complete free if they dont have insurance.

They just started having this same party in SF. Next one should be around Folsom. I've heard good things, I was too busy to take part in the first one, but I will be making time for the next one.
