We have made a few videos but we have yet to figure out a system for filming ourselves without it becoming a distraction or getting in the way. Right now we've just been using a camera phone which my bf usually holds (he's the top). We usually get some great shots in for a minute or so and then he loses patience and tosses the camera aside so he can really start drilling away at my hole. Does anyone have any helpful tips for making homemade porn? Certain positions that make it easier to hold a camera steady? Certain positions where I might be able to hold the camera so my bf can focus on the main attraction? I know we could just set up a camera nearby to capture our bodies in the frame but we really like taking close up shots which from my experience requires one of us to be holding the camera. Even then he may need to pause the action to get in close and may need to suggest different positions for better angles or more light. You are likely to be "directed" to some degree. I really like the helmet cam idea though to get the bottom's perspective. You just don't see that in any porn! (Google iPhone helmet mount and you'll see lots of dorky solutions.) If you can't get a third guy, the second best is the cam on a tripod or a table. It takes some practice to make sure you are in a good position to get a decent shot. I don't have any trouble holding a camera when I'm topping (it's easier with a cam that has a hand strap, but I usually just use my iPhone). We had the video out going to a TV we could see and it had a remote that could control the camcorder zoom. This allowed us to see how we were doing and reposition ourselves. I would usually stack books on a shelf to create different heights and angles or even tape my webcam up high to get a birds eye view of the action. other then that, use different positions and change camera angles to get a good video. but dont change too frequently because then the viewer just gets annoyed. I found for me one of the best positions for me (on camera) is when i mount a guy like a frog because you can see the insertion very well and lots of guys love watching my legs as im plowing a bottoms hole. If you're going to film your video at home--please do some housecleaning--there's nothing more distracting than a dirty room. NO BACKGROUND MUSIC--it's distracting. Close the curtains--again, a distraction. Turn off the television--it's a distraction. Basically, alleviate any and all things that could distract from you guys fucking. Be relaxed and whatever you do, DON'T stare into the camera. Plan to fuck in various positions for atleast 15 minutes at a time (allow some time for editing). Slow & steady gets it done better than jackhammer fucking. Just as rawTOP said, get a tripod OR solicit someone to film it for you. If you buy a cam corder with a remote, set the camera on a tripod with a monitor behind it, so you can see what is being filmed and adjust the camera with the remote. bboriental Posted September 1, 2012 Report Share Posted September 1, 2012 a tripod works to an extent, but in my experience, it gets annoying because you're self concious that you need to fuck in a certain position or orient yourself in a particular direction (otherwise cam won't pick anything but your back or none of the action!) I find it much easier to have a 3rd guy film it.
