Why I am leaving all groups and this site

oWhen I found this site I thought it was basically for those who are poz and looking for others in the same place. I did not see that it included intenionally infecting those unaware, feeding the virus and so much more dangerous and illegal stuff. Dealing with being poz is one thing but giving the "gift" is hardly a gift. It is a medical expense; it is bad is so many ways. That an intelligent person would intentionally use a broken condom to infect is scary - just plain stupid. I know I can't be removed (profile) but I can remove my self and delete this link - which I will do at the end of this writing. This is not a place for those in the condition to be together; it is a place where the unsuspecting are becoming sick and infected. Not for me.

Well, a lot of what you're talking about is fantasy talk. And you have to opt-in for it. So basically you opted into something and then were offended by it. Just opt-out.

Raw top I am aware that ALOT of it is fantasy. But I'm sure you wouldn't disagree that a lot of members on this forum think that's its ok to not tell their partners if their HIV+ or even going so far as saying their neg.

In fact I've seen a lot of profiles here from poz Guys then when I go to their BBRT they have there status set to neg. Does that not bother you?

cumslutfordaddy: there's a HUGE difference between what people say here and what happens in real life; some stuff posted here is likely fantasy and some stuff is real. you also make a sweeping condemnation of the majority of people on this site - I have seen many, many people on this site give sound advice and almost always advice that encourages people to be truthful in their actions (whether it's about telling a sexual partner what they do and don't want sexually or being honest about your HIV status - poz or neg). If you don't like it, opt-out, but please don't do it by being judgmental - it's rude and offensive.

Well once you sort out all the fantasy and illegal things there is solid advice...but you have to remember though sites like this its a place where people could be who they want to be or write about how they want be like and enjoy themselves.

With the different forums that are content specific and some must be opted into I find it hard to understand how someone can be so offended by material that they would have to go and make and effort to be exposed too. I might not like the straight threads on here but I don't go bitching about them I just don't read them.

I'm sure that for some members chasing HIV or purposely pozing others is more than a fantasy. But even then, I rather be given the opportunity to read some of those post and what these men have to say instead of pretending that these behaviors do not exist.

I see Breeding Zone as a forum for guys to discuss "male breeding", bareback fantasies and all associated fetishes. Because barebacking is a high-risk behavior for HIV and STIs then HIV gets fetishized. But for many of us "breeding" has nothing to do with "infecting".

P.S. I highly recommend the book "Unlimited Intimacy" by Tim Dean, all about bareback.

You know I was turned off by some of what I read here in the beginning as well. But like RT pointed out, just opt out of what you find upsetting. I did that and I don't see much of it. And the disturbing stuff about stealthing and bug chasing doesn't appear for me. I also felt it best for me not to read the section on Sex and Chems. And I have to point out that once you filter the extremes, this forum is highly educational and entertaining. I talk about thing on this site that I don't even bring up on my own blog. And I sure don't talk to real people about. That is the value of the internet. Bringing people with similar interests together who never would meet otherwise. Nice to meet you. Now chill out and try to remember what made you seek this out in the first place.

I take all this talk as...think I really believe what's being said on here? I dont. It's like the question..."Do you believe every thing you read on the internet?"...I don't. I agree allot on here is probably made up with a fraction that is true. If you look at porn on line what draws you to that?...the type of sex they are having...there differnt types of porn to meet everyone's fantasy...same is true for this site...there are stories, true or not, that meet everyones fantasy...weather we agree with the story or not. Just my two cents.

i think another side of the coin needs to be presented here. If the fantasy stuff is not for you....leave. if the real life stuff is not for you......leave. however, there are most definitely a good few of us on here who not only believe it's fantasy, but practice the ideals of this website in real life. i am sick of other bullshit websites saying they are pure fantasy only, and not to be taken too seriously. well, that may well be the case, but I believe i've found a spiritual home here, and not going anywhere. I understand that there IS a lot of fantasy stuff, predominently in the fiction segment, but you're deluding yourself if you think some/most of the comments on the remainder of the site are fantasy......and this all my humble opinion.

There will never be a perfect website. BreedingZone isn't perfect. And indeed for me some of the stories and posts are disturbing. But I find it easy to pass them over or ignore them. There are other stories which involve passing on HIV, but there are other features to the story I find interesting and/or appealing. Examples by bearbandit and kennywi come to mind... Like other posts in this thread, there are some terrific threads which help me to understand parts of humanity, my fellow travelers, I genuinely appreciate. Example was recently was started by poptronic.

In my garden there are weeds and great food... Sometimes the weeds are beautiful... I fear the OP had too narrow an expectation. I hope he will rethink his decision.

So this site is to be faulted for getting people to tell the truth about their HIV status?

But to answer your question - most poz guys are on meds. It's safer to have sex with a poz guy on meds than it is to have sex with a neg guy. HIV status is somewhat irrelevant these days. So no, it doesn't bother me. (What's relevant is viral load).

Yes a lot of it is fantasy. But some of it isn't. To say that there are not people on this forum who get off on oozing unsuspecting negs, is delusional. Anyone who thinks its ok to poz up unsuspecting negs, need to be shot in the head.

I always find it a bit amusing to read a story here about how some guy pozzed some neg guy and then I go to his profile and it says he's on meds. He's living out a fantasy. In reality, he's shooting blanks and couldn't poz someone if he wanted to.

Not all poz guys go on meds right away.

"Poz on meds" =/= undectable.

Some(a very small few) undectable guys like to skimp on the meds every once I'm a while to poz unsuspecting negs.

Also why doesn't it bother you if a HIV+ man sets his BBRT status to negative. If he is undectable and he never skimps on his meds I have no problem if he tells dumb twinks that he's neg. (also assuming he has no reason to believe he has syllphallis or any other Disease that could cause his viral load to unexpected spike).

But if a HIV+ who is not on meds tells someone he is either undectable or neg, I would like to assume that would bother you, and if you found that someone you knew was doing that you would report him to the police
