What to do with old sex toys, porn, leather wear?

I was chatting with one of my buds from here this morning. He is looking to move and has a big collection.

My mother in law passed this week and we've been cleaning out her apartment. Lotta stuff. And it makes me think what my relatives would go through if I passed. I have a lot of sex stuff that I enjoyed once, but am really done with. Porn I've seen enough times; dildos I am done with; electrosex gear I have in triplicate I could easily downsize, etc...

It seems there ought to be a place to market that stuff. Sort of a "Second Wind" (in USA, a store for exercise equipment) for sex stuff. Or, PornBay...

How do the rest of you handle that?

I would be interested in buying some older used merchandise if greed doesn't interfere. I see to much of that anymore. You pay, say, $50 for some item and have used it and it is now 2 ,3 or 5 years old it is NOT now worth $50 but at most is worth more like $10 now. Almost anything people buy anymore loses value after the very first use and most things lose from 25% to 50% of value the first use of it, so if it has been used many times and gets older it does not have that much used value. Sell something for actual value and not a greedy value and you will be able to sell things. I have seen many people trying to sell things way more than they should be and then wonder why it sits around so long. I realize that sooner or later you will find a 'sucker' for a ridiculous price but why wait months or years for it. Use your heads and you will get rid of more items quicker.

Forgot to add that the reason I ranted about this so much. Just had a guy that wanted to sell me a used dildo, that I wanted a lot and was large. Very nice but he wanted $35 for it and it was two year old and sells NEW in a store here for $39.95. Just want people to use their heads for a change and quit being greedy.

Depending on the items and sizes etc. I might be interested in some things. I gave all my toys away not that long ago as I didn't use any of them anymore. I didn't sell them just gave them to someone I meet that I knew would use them.

I kinda like the idea. If they are in good condition it is kind of hot to think about where it might have been before my hole. There should be something like an adult version of ebay where you could just auction it off...

I agree. If I had the moxie, I would start slutBay. Some would say "yuk" at a used sound or dildo. Others would jump at the chance, knowing it had been inside another....

Growing up when magazines were one of the more prevalent types of porn, it seemed like a lot of guys used to "pay it forward" by leaving it a public space for others to find. Before I was old enough to buy my own porn, I had already amassed a large collection just by exploring the back lots of the commercial strip near my place. Most of it was straight porn mags (Hustler, Hawk, Club, Swank, Penthouse Forum), but I had did find a few issues of Playgirl that served me quite well.
