Hey all,

I was wondering If I'm going through background checks for like local PD, or gov work, what do you think the chances I would be disqualified for having a profile on this site and others like it.

Most of my Adult stuff i keep separate from professional lines communications and other then here and two other sites Im not on "social media"

your input appreciated...

Thanks

Well to be safe scrub any references from here that would link back to your real name profile on Facebook etc.  Cause they are going to be doing a search for whatever your real name is and unless you use bottombottoy in your email addresses that you gave them or have on your facebook profile they probably won't find this.

I have the real me and the porn me as I call it and I keep them separate for things like that cause you never know what they will do if they unearth something that is a little taboo or risque and it is better to error on the side of caution.

Yeah, I have the same thing as you seaguy. I also dont have social media like facebook, twitter, blah blah. So im wondering if they will use more clandestine resources to background check. I dunno. I guess I could just turn all my profiles off for a while, if thats a possibility .  :( -but i really dont wanna!

If you don't use social media, all a name check will show is your credit and criminal history. Even if you use social media, you can always make the profiles private. All anyone doing a check would know is that you have an account. You don't have to worry about anyone stumbling onto a site like this unless you use your full name. You'd need a face pic, too, unless they know what your ass looks like :)

I go through a background check every other year because of what I do. They have never discovered my "adult" side. There are a lot of people that would be shocked by my sexual side. As I posted several years ago, I have the public me and the private me. I keep the two separate. As long as your adult side is not linked to your public side you should be ok.

I would say it depends on what your doing.  If they do yearly checks then it must involve integrity because usually they background check you wehen your hired and that is it.  Do they perform them in house or are they done by another company?  You might have the right to ask what all the check entails since it is something you probably gave them permission to perform.  I would say that they are not gonna find your posts on here unless they hack into your home computer and start going through stuff on it.  I would assume your not logging on here while at work.

LOL. No im not signing on from work... I have been through numerous and very rigorous background checks before but none when I have been apart of sites like this.

So my worry as you can imagine rose. But I feel a bit better now. Seems like the background check coming up is more or less a historical look at me to check what I have said is true.

Now I get to practice for the polygraph... lolz.

It's always best to keep your porn identity separate from your real identity as much as possible as the other posters have said.   Keep in mind that investigators are developing increasingly sophisticated search measures.

Your email address can yield a mountain of information for an investigator to mine depending on how intense a scrutiny they want to give you.

Just as advertisers can check out what websites you are visiting, and target pop up ads to you, so too can a security investigator see what sites you are visiting if they have access to your home computer/iphone/ notepads, etc.

Even if you don't access porn sites from your work pc, if your work pc is networked with your home pc, or other electronic devices, it is possible for an employer investigator to monitor your activities.

However, except for the most sensitive positions, I doubt that many persons are subjected to this level of scrutiny of their private lives.

Best rule is not to put any personally identifiable information (email info, phone #, DOB, face pix, etc.) in profiles on porn sites.

Don't use the same photos on your adult sites that you use for real life.  I always do a save as and rename the jpeg for my adult profiles, blog, etc.  That way a photo search won't come up.

If you use Gmail sign up for a "porn" gmail address and then you can get a Google voice number to use as your phone number it can then be forwarded to your real phone number but that way your not having to post or use your real number.  Plus you can make calls from within Gmail including to Canada free.

if "THEY" really wanted to, they could get with your ISP and find out what sites you go to.  when I sign up for any site i do not use my real birthday as that is one piece of information hackers can use to get personal information (yes rawtop, I am over 18, haven't seen 18 in nearly 40 years)
