Unusual topic for this site but I wanted to draw attention to this.
All Out is an organization that is trying to support gay people worldwide who are in a bad situation and need help. I have supported them in various cases. They fight actions from installing anti-gay laws (also in the US) to supporting people who need help worldwide.

This particular request was sent out for Samir (see message below) who fled his country to avoid being killed by Islamic State (=IS/ISIS/ISIL).

Please read and if you can donate, please do so. Can also be done via PayPal if you do not have a credit card. It's up to you.

Hi there,

I just donated to help get gay and trans refugees off the streets, away from the deadly discrimination they face every day -- will you join me and chip in too?

Last year, ISIS invaded the city where Samir - a gay refugee from Syria - lived. He was terrified because he knew ISIS was attacking people like him. Just a few weeks later, ISIS murdered his best friend because they found out he was gay.

Samir was so scared, he decided to escape the country. He came to Lebanon, where he thought he would be safe. ISIS can’t reach him now, but with no money or family, he's going to end up on the street where he could be attacked and abused.

In just a few days, All Out members raised enough to help Samir, but there are still so many others just like him still in need. If we all chip in today, we can help two more refugees like Samir into safe housing, and continue to superpower the campaign for love a nd equality around the globe.
