Cock Rings - Why So Prevalent?

I notice in so many amateur videos and even some professional ones, a heavy emphasis on cock rings. What's that all about? It's hotter for me to see a guy totally hard without the need of a ring.

A variety of reasons I guess. Some guys might need them, others might enjoy how they feel, maybe some just like how they look.

I wear one because I like how it feels and looks.  It doesn't make me hard it just helps keep me hard for prolonged periods, and if I am edging it can help with that.

I also wear one with the "need" for one. I am a bottom. I just love the feeling. A bottom putting on a cock ring does not mean they want to top you.  If a bottom wants to top someone he usually does not need a cock ring to do that.
