But they would never go to the door to stranger's home first without a companion. Also, in such a situation where they needed to teach two separate people at the same time the missionaries typically would have one other male member of their ward be there with each missionary.  It is highly unlikely a missionary would be alone when teaching. Sorry since I grew up in Mormonism I would prefer the story be more factually accurate.

I served a LDS mission in Italy. We taught two separate ppl in the same home at the same time but in separate rooms... you would be surprised how many missionaries have been gay; don’t try and tell me what happened/didn’t happen to me
