When I'm not sexually active, I get tested every six months, just to be sure. (Hey, just 'cause nobody's sittin' on the sofa doesn't mean you shouldn't check the cushions for loose change.)

When I'm sexually active, I usually test every six weeks, but I'll stretch it to every three months at the most.

I only get tested when I need to... October 2011 because I had to undergo a series of tests. Otherwise it's very rare, maybe once a year.

About a month ago in early Feb.

I was a mainly oral bottom and went years between fucks. I had never been barebacked until last year when i had several guys start barefucking me while I was sucking someone elses dick at the baths. None stayed in me for more than a few strokes but it was so nasty and hot especially when i took them ass to mouth. ButI was amazed at how much easier initial penetration was without rubber

Back in October I met a guy at the baths who watched me suck another guy. When I saw his uncut 10.5 inch, one of the thickest cocks I have seen I wanted it in me - bare.

he fucked me HARD bent over a bench, standing, on all fours, ass hangng off the bed, flat on my stomach, missionary with legs up in the air and a brutal hard piledriver. He used me hard slapping my face and chocking me. In beween positions I craved his cock in my mouth.

He didn't cum in me and I eventualy asked him to put on a condom and we fucked for another half hour suited up. But he was leaking massive pre-cum as I found when I took him ass to mouth.

So while i didn't take the load i did get tested after a reasonable interval

Just be sure to test during a time period where it is least likely you will have a false-positive test. The following is known to sometimes cause a false-positive HIV test result:

Flu vaccination http://www.flutrackers.com/forum/showthread.php?p=356581

Herpes simplex I http://member.cmpmedica.com/verify.php?referrer=http://www.theaidsreader.com/display/article/1145619/1362115&parentreferrer=http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cts=1331752931790&ved=0CFwQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.theaidsreader.com%2Fdisplay%2Farticle%2F1145619%2F1362115&ei=2e9gT5SHPMvLtgflgMm7BQ&usg=AFQjCNGmvrZwdBMWA3N1QHjKrqmpOGJD0Q

Herpes simplex II

Upper respiratory tract infection

Hepatitis B vaccination

Rheumatoid arthritis

They say to use a Western Blot test to confirm results but those test's results are interpreted depending on what country you reside in. There is no internationally-accepted scientific standard for interpreting the Western Blot results which leads one to wonder how much is really known about this disease.

From Wikipedia:

"There are no universal criteria for interpreting the western blot test: The number of viral bands that must be present may vary. If no viral bands are detected, the result is negative. If at least one viral band for each of the GAG, POL, and ENV gene-product groups are present, the result is positive. The three-gene-product approach to western blot interpretation has not been adopted for public health or clinical practice."

Got my latest results last week, still neg. I take medication for my cholesterol and since most statins don't agree with me, I get tested every 3 months to make sure they're not causing liver or muscle damage. My doctor knows I'm bi and at my request includes a HIV test each time.

I'm pretty far overdue... I had to go look up the date - I couldn't remember when I was last tested. Looks like it was March 2011 - so 15-16 months ago.

Hey guys..new to this site..I'm in Myrtle Beach,SC..I haven't been tested in over 10yrs..I started barebacking only in 2007..never let a guy use a condom since..never had a flu, cold or sick at all in well over 12yrs..I've always had a very strong immune system..I've taken plenty of poz loads..and even kept the loads inside me for hours..I'm not really a chaser..but taking poz loads just makes it so much better..more intense..so guess its due to luck and my immune system that I'm stil hiv neg..

I've never been tested...I think I'm afraid to know!

Catching HIV early isn't all that scary - you're much more in control of what happens and how it turns out.

What is scary is letting HIV progress to the point where it's too late, damage is done, and the meds can't help all that much. The people who die of AIDS these days are more often than not people who didn't get tested and waited too long to take meds.

GET TESTED!!
