I've heard twitter is going down the Tumblr route and banning any nudity. Has any body heard this too?

And thoughts on where to go next if this is happens?

I saw this post amongst others (sorry all, I know it's a female).  But this is the kinda tweet I'm referring to.

Sad, and so typical of the uptight attitude regarding sex in this country. But hey violence and that bullshit Proud Boys stuff is OK. God forbid anyone shows their dick or tits...Puritan Americans go fucking apeshit. They’ll wrap it up in the guise of stopping sexual exploitation but follow the money. My guess is they don’t like that so much of it is under he table and not taxed. I’m sure Chaturbate, Kik, and other things are next too, just like they went after Craigslist and Back Pages. They want to make sure no one in his country is having any fun.

haven't heard about it - haven't seen any mention of it in any posts .. they definately don't like X-rated banner pictures - they'll suspend you for that - I switched mine to a G-rated picture of Hawaii months ago .. and of course there are certain obvious topics that are banned .. doesn't mean it won't happen - it's a for-profit site - just haven't seen any indication at this time ..

I heard something like this. I follow Adam Awbride on Twitter. He shared the original post about a new bill called SISEA. According to this summary if the bill will be passed, uploading sexual content will be more difficult.

I think how twitter currently manages things is very sensible: no nudity in banner / profile pic and you can mark all your posts as potentially offensive.  You can also choose whether or not you want to see such posts.  It's a very sensible grown up way of managing things.

my twitter twitter.com/jonny4dad is all pics & vids of my hard cock, ass, fucking etc and never had any trouble.

I haven't seen anything unusual on twitter.  There are accounts that get suspended because their banner picture is X-rated.  Keep you're banner picture G rated and you're good.  And you have to keep your content legal.

I didn’t experience either. However, some friends’ accounts have been suspended or deleted, supposedly because of the porn content.

I believe this link probably explains the situation.

In a nutshell: if you want to be able to tweet adult content, you have to set your account so that it's flagged that you tweet material that may be considered sensitive. Anyone who doesn't have that set, and who tweets or retweets posts with nudity, etc. in them, may get "popped" by Twitter for violating its policies.

I'd lay odds that anyone who was flagged has not properly set their account marking it as "sensitive" material.
