Last year it was small. 5 bottoms and 8-10 tops I think. One of the « tops » was clearly a bottom and was trying to hookup with a couple of the other tops . Wasn’t a big deal but not really the point. It was still a hot experience and I would do it again, but it would be better with a bigger crowd.

It’s interesting how this event brings out some of the stereotypes of various countries in which it is held. I agree that the Germans seem to do it the best, with strict rules which are just as strictly enforced and adhered to. The British event in London has the same strict rules, but they are not well enforced and only half-heartedly adhered to… after an hour or so, the hoods are coming off, stallions are flipping and mares are mating with each other… everyone ends up having a bit of a laugh and ‘muddling through’ to the end 🤣

sounds like that event lost its heart 😞 shame, it sounds just like a regular group event, not a horsemarket

Tropical La Zona is another adult men only clothing/optional bungalow resort similar to Basement Studios but has a much nicer layout/feel and is about a 7 min walk to the Yumbo Centre. It has a very calm/relaxing feel to it as it's gated off from prying outside eyes looking in. They do have a sort of maze/cruise area up the back of the resort but it's never really that busy as the patrons staying there have their own bungalows if they want to shag (although on previous trips, I've seen a couple fuck in the hot tub, had a guest give me blowjob until I exploded in full view of everyone around the pool area, and I remember one guy had is balcony door and curtains open and was ass up on the table waiting for someone to come and load him up). I have seen and participated in action in the maze area though but I guess it's mainly there for those visiting the resort (non-guests can visit and pay 5€ to sunbathe by the pool during the day but must leave once the bar closes). Also, at night after the bars have closed, it's not uncommon to see some guests walking around the resort nude looking for action. My last trip there I ended up fucking the guy that was staying in the bungalow next to me by walking around the resort nude that night (my partner never knew I  snuck out that night 😈). The people that run it are super nice and there is a little bar by the pool that serves alcohol and a light food menu and manned until the early evening. People who stay are there are very friendly and I've made a few friends staying there in the past.

I'll be in GC in early July this year and staying there again, but this time with a friend. A proper lads weekend! This will be my first trip to GC without my partner. While we're open, it'll be nice to be able to truly explore the cruiser side of GC without feeling self-conscious of my partner being right there if you know what I mean. I've experience Strong Construction before and it was a blast so I'm really looking forward to going solo and raw fucking as many guys as I want.

Update for anyone heading to Maspalomas these days:
1. Dunes: still some action during the day, but somehow in the 4 days I went by there weren't too many people. Lots of wankers and watchers, but action seems to be less intense than in previous years.
2. Factory: always good. many people and lots of action. definitely my favourite. good mix of ages, tops and bottoms, with lots of action happening everywhere. a definite 9/10.

3. Zoo. good between 10:30 and 01:00. then the crowd thins out and mostly bottoms stay in hope of a last load. The most uncomfortable slings and more 1-1 action rather than group. Very clean and diverse clientele although many do come to socialise and only occasionally have sex. 7/10

4. Strong Construction. Always packed, dirty toilets, lots of Stand & Model, many OF making vids. Dark areas will get you some action, but way too crowded and everyone looking for the elusive 25cm black top who shoots gallons. 5/10

5. Reds. More laid back smaller club, but clean and mostly men over 45-50. But you get more action and fucks and loads than at Construction. Great terrace for smokers and if you are exhibitionist and like to fuck or be fucked whilst others are watching, then this is a place for you. Even on the smoking terrace, men wank openly, suck and fuck with no worries. A good 8/10

6. Noxon. Mostly for puppies and piss lovers. Good mix, depending on the night. Early bar so pretty much all dies down around midnight. They do have themed parties (Load  and Breed ), but can be a hit and miss depending on the night. I find drinks to be a bit on the pricey side but a good option. 7/10

7. Tom's bar. Small and mostly socialising for bears and leather. You can get some action although it's not the main attraction. If you like bears and leather, this can be your place to meet others. For me.... 5/10

8. Cruise bar. Lots of mature men, mostly with clothes on. Lots of looks and buttslapping, but action is on a low side. If you like 50+ daddies type this is a good place to be. Note however to watch for your valuables. As many people go dressed you need to keep an eye on your phone and wallet. Needless to say that thiefs and pickpockets don't care about your sexual orientation. my rating: 4/10
