Because of this, most people are more sensitive to fluids entering the nose retrograde, and may have autonomic response like sneezing or a strong urge to blow outward or cough. Personally, I absolutely cannot stand getting water up my nose, so this would be a non-starter. Plus, think about it: Do you like having your sinuses stuffed with snot when you’re ill?
