Oddly enough, I've never been to an ABS, and looking for tips as plan to do so Soon!

As I understand usually video booths with glory holes.  Does one just choose a random booth, and wait for a cock or ass to be offered? If it's not something desired, do you just move to another booth, or stay there and hope they leave and someone else comes along?

I'm an oral bottom and content with sucking cock, but seems like a good way to get fuckt.  I'm guessing a top would have to be pretty hung to fuck through one?

That depends, of course, on the thickness of the walls. I've seen ABSes with walls made of 1/2" plywood - about the minimum you can use (with support) for a wall that doesn't have ordinary studs 16" on center. I note that construction detail because I'd imagine most ABSes would have a fairly wide - 3 feet or so - between wall studs/supports so that a guy can press tightly against the wall. It's possible some places might use 1/4" plywood, but I think that might prove a bit flimsy.

In such a case, if the wall is only 1/2" thick, the guy doesn't need to have a 9" monster dick to fuck through it. Might not be as satisfying for the bottom if the top is only, say, 4 1/2" or so, but I'd think almost any average to average plus length cock could reach. And of course, if the hole is larger, the top can press hard up against the wall and possibly go a little deeper.

A lot is local custom, and/or time of the day.  I knew 1 place in NJ where if you were there between 4 and 6p, workers getting off work and headed home would arrive, head to a booth and have a hard on within moments- if you got lucky to hit the booth next to them, you had minutes to help the guy out- fast fuck Freddies knocking one out before continuing on home to the wife and kids. Some places guys do the hallway dance, roaming around and around and leaning against the walls until someone interesting comes along and goes into a booth, but others may also be checking him out so it is a case of the fastest wins- the empty booth next to the new guy. Other methods are to take a booth with 1 or 2 gloryholes on either side wall, play a movie and monitor to see who enters the booth next to you. If they are not what you are looking for, either ignore their offering, or be polite and simply say no thanks thru the hole. If the guy is dense, or refuses to take no, then you pretty much will have to sit there watching your movie ignoring the person , or get up and leave the booth for a walk around and a different booth. Just know, someone you are not into may find you the perfect playmate, so even moving might not solve the issue If you grow a stalker, it might be time to go check out the store and the dildo selection. 

Just be alert- you do not need your valuables in all their glory to play in the booths, so leave them home- including the wallet. Some people in bookstores are less than honest. I bought a leather wrist wallet and had an expired drivers license in it, and the money needed for the booths. Nothing else really needed. Along the same lines- don't share. If you have poppers and use them, keep them to yourself. If the other guy asks for them, you might never see the bottle again, esp if the guy shoots after huffing them. Or the guy will suck the bottle so hard the shine will be off the bottle when he hands the now empty and useless bottle back just as he heads out the booth.

The bookstore I use the most here in Michigan has covered all the gloryholes, by order of the county.  Men still use the booths, leaving the doors open, to let another man slip in.   It's very tight quarters, so I don't use them. 

Many bookstores also have communal viewing areas.  This same location has two different rooms with large screen televisions--one for straight porn and one for gay.  Play is pretty open behind these closed doors.  I like to show off--so I am in my element in there.  Many men, shy at first, are now playing more openly as they hate the booths without the holes.

I have been to many, many different bookstores in many states--and it feels like gloryholes are being covered in lots of those places.

Bookstores can be very hot though they used to be better. I love traveling and finding new ones via Squirt.   I always perfer anonymous and nothing like a nice big glory hole for that.  The best move is sucking some and quickly turning around and sinking it up your ass raw.  90% of guys will finish inside if they wanted to bareback or not... feels too good not to.
