Undetectable; varied considerably before went on Atripla, but generally was less than 100,000. Only went on meds because my platelet count was so low I was potentially in danger of bleeding to death.

Was over 600,000 when diagnosed in April 2005. Stayed around 3,000 and 10,000 for several years. Went on Atripla two years ago when T-cells went down near 200. Now undetectable but think about going off the meds. Anyone else decide to go off permanently?

I was 750000 when diagnosed. Went on Atripla for a couple of years, was undetectable(<50), the VL started rising as the Sustiva element of Atripla began failing. Shifted to Truvada (the other part of Atripla) Reyataz and Norvir. Went back to undetectable. Then in August the lab I use moved to a new, more sensitive VL test. Results came back still under 50 at 27. Doc decided to test again two weeks later, came back 23. So we did December, but I had just been sick with bronchitis and it came back 73. Just tested again and it's back down to 23.

I wouldn't mind getting it lower, but doc is thinking that hovering around 20 is probably where I've been for years. My cd4s have been steadily rising. On Atripla I topped out at around 400. Now I'm at 825.
