  1. Yes, you can't predict conversion from the symptoms. Only way to know for sure is to get tested in a few weeks and see. That being said, I had a pretty extreme "flu" when I converted. Fever, aches, chills, bone crushing fatigue, swollen glands. No cold/flu symptoms like sneezing, coughing, congestion, sore throat. I was sick in bed for 2 straight weeks. The fatigue lasted at least a month and the swollen glands never completely went away. From what you describe, I would doubt that you're converting but you never know.
  2. fuck that's a beautiful account of a hot intense breeding. love the details. feel like i was there when you gave him what he needed.
  3. never experienced that but it sounds like maybe he pushed his way passed the rectum into the sigmoid colon. if you've ever fisted a guy you've probably felt the "exit" from the rectum into the colon. there is a bend in the intestines right there which is supported by a ligament, like a strap that holds it in place. a lot of times guys refer to this passage as the "second ring" or "inner sphincter." in fact it's not a sphincter at all--a sphincter is a circular muscle that opens when relaxed and closes up when tightened. this is just an "elbow' in the tube that makes up the end of the intestines. but with work, the ligament stretched to make a wider hole that is more of a straight shot from the rectum instead of a 90 degree curve. the popping sensation is probably the head of his dick pushing beyond that bend and into the next chamber of your guts.
  4. just got back from a week at vista grande. it was ok--kind of a mixed bag. arrived on a saturday evening and the place was full so things were pretty frisky. but on sunday the joint cleared out. there were about a half dozen guys there all week. finally on thursday evening a few more guys arrived and by friday it was crowded again. it was mostly an older crowd but i had a fun time in the hot tub with 10 gays late friday night/saturday morning. unfortunately i left on saturday just as things were back in full swing. the grounds are nice but the rooms are fairly run down. they're in the process of renovating things but they're doing it piecemeal and very slowly from the looks of it. the steam room was also out of order most of the week. went next door to all worlds for an afternoon during the week, just to check it out. it was definitely more cruisy and the rooms are all recently redecorated but the grounds are a lot more sparten--everything is concrete with minimal landscaping, although they have several pools and hot tub, as well as a sex room with glory holes and a sling. i also tried to hook up online on manhunt, bbrt, adam4adam and scruff without much success. lots of poz guys but hard to coordinate and get guys to commit to a hookup.
  5. Fuck flu was definitely "pretty bad" for me. Sick for 2+ weeks, fever, aches, chills, bone crushing fatigue. I definitely knew what it was and was super turned on but was really knocked out by it. Haven't had any problems since converting 7 years ago but do seem to have a fairly powerful strain. Had a quick and steady decline of T cells and within 5 years was on the verge of an aids diagnoses.
  6. Like others have said, the first week to 10 days were the hardest with Atripla. I was dizzy and vaguely nauseous, but it went away completely after a week or two and i haven't had any side effects at all since then (not even the vivid dreams). Of course, everyone reacts differently and if you're having a hard time tolerating it after a few weeks, definitely talk to your doctor about switching regimens. There are several good alternatives out there now so there is no need to suffer with side effects if the current drugs aren't working out of for you.
  7. There haven't been any baths in Boston in years. The last one was the Safari Club in the South End, which was shut down by the city in around 1999. Before there, there used to be Saunaplex in the financial district, which burned down, and the Club Baths on Lagrange Street in the Combat Zone. The place in Chelsea that you're probably thinking of is a Russian steam bath called Dillons. There is no sex there but it's a cool place to go and steam.
  8. I think I must be about the same age as TheBreeder--I was born in '64 so I grew up in the age of naked swimming at the Y and had fairly liberal parents who, while not nudists, were not modest about nudity either. I also went through a modest stage in my early teens but was always kind of into nudity and started sleeping in the nude at around 14 or 15 I guess. In college, I was a dance so I was always semi naked and touching other sweaty semi naked guys and girls and it was totally not a big deal. When I was 19, I went to a nude beach for the first time--in Mykonos, Greece--and I loved the freedom of being naked outdoors with other people around, some nude, some not, but with no judgment or shame. Over the years, I had a string of roommates who were pretty uptight about nudity, as I find most Americans to be. Once I started living with lovers or by myself, I started spending most of my time at home in the nude. For the last several years I've lived alone and work out of my house, so I am typically naked all day unless I have to go out of the house or have to meet with clients. I'm always amazed at how much people get freaked out by nudity, especially men with other men. I'd love to chalk that up to homophobia but actually I find straight guys tend to be a less concerned about casual nudity among other men than gay guys do. It seems that gay men look at two men being naked together as a necessarily sexual situation and if they're not into you sexually, they don't want to "invite" contact by being naked. It's kind of sad. And I agree with AlwaysOpen--for me nudity has nothing to do with being "hot" or having a perfect body, it's just about being natural and not trying to impress anyone with your 6-pack abs.
  9. I should also point out that since my cd4 levels had dropped to 250 in under 4 years, even with a relatively low viral load, I would certainly have been full blown in under 5 years if I hadn't started meds. Not sure if my strain is particularly virulent or if there were other factors contributing to the decline in t-cells but I suspect I'd see a rapid drop again if I were to go off meds.
  10. Pretty much my experience as well. Was diagnosed during conversion illness. The rapid antibody test was still negative but they did a PCR test and my vl came back over 750,000 copies (the highest that particular assay went). 6 weeks later it was down to 40,000, another month and it was down to 10,000. for the next several years it stayed in the range of about 3,000 to 10,000, ie at the "set point." never did go up but my t-cells dropped significantly and started meds 4 years after infection. now undetectable but thinking of going off and working on getting med resistant.
  11. Was over 600,000 when diagnosed in April 2005. Stayed around 3,000 and 10,000 for several years. Went on Atripla two years ago when T-cells went down near 200. Now undetectable but think about going off the meds. Anyone else decide to go off permanently?
  12. great thread! small dicked fuck hole here. have a little dick and am impotent so tops don't have to worry about seeing me get hard. never get off when getting fucked and never play with my dick in front of a guy. it's all about his dick unloading in my hole, not about my dick. glad to hear there are tops that appreciate this.
  13. Hey men. Congrats on going off meds. Only a matter of time now until you're a fucking aids statistic. Great to see guys going all the way with the bug--especially young guys like you. Hot that you converted at 20. If you hadn't started on meds you probably could have been dead by 30 which is pretty perfect. Still you should be dead by 35 now which is great. If you can find some guys with really virulent stains it might speed things up and get you really sick in a year or two. Tweaking will also kill off your immune system really fast and let the virus take over sooner. Would love to hear your progress.

  14. never touch my dick during sex and don't like the top trying to touch it or suck it. fully impotent and have no interest in using this penis.
  15. no erections/no orgasms here. bottoms should be impotent.
  16. a study was done a couple of years ago in switzerland that concluded that hiv positive individuals whose infection is controlled by anti-retrovirals and have an undetectable viral load and no other std's pose no transmission risk to negative partners. the key to that of course is that people don't know for certainty at any given time whether their viral load is undetectable. poz people who do have other std's, particularly syphilis, tend to have a spike in their viral loads even with med therapy. that's why public health officials, especially in the us, are reluctant to say that it is "safe" to have unprotected sex with a positive partner if he/she has undetectable levels of the virus. also, as you probably know, undetectable doesn't mean NO virus--it means there are fewer copies than can be detected by traditional clinical testing methods (usually under either 40 or 45 copies).
