Poppers for Beginners?

I hope I’m posting this in the correct area.

 

Can anyone offer advice and best brand of poppers for a first time user?

 

I’ve never used them, and would be a bit apprehensive to do so.  But, I’m very interested.

 

Any information would be greatly appreciated.  I have absolutely zero interest in any other enhancement.

I’ve asked a lot of guys who use them the same question and I mostly get:

I used Rush the first time I tried poppers simply because it's the kind I had heard about I and saw them the porn arcade. But the other brands mentioned are good as well, so whatever you happen to find. 
Take it slow and barely sniff at first, just to get a sense of what you're gonna be feeling. You don't have to huff deep at first - that'll happen at some point;)  Let the buzz pass and take a deeper hit if you want. If you feel like it's a little too much at some point, just stop and get some fresh air if you need.

 I find Blue Boy is good all around brand. It delivers a good steady punch, but it is not quite as harsh on the nostrils if you are new to poppers.

Rush seems to be the gateway brand for most folk. I was a teenager the first time I used it, with no idea about its use for sex. A few of us were doing bong hits with some dude’s older brother, who had us take huffs of it after taking a hit. I don’t even think he had a clue, other than something sold in head shops.

I'm not huge into poppers, they often give me a headache.  But a lot of top guys like them so I often have them at the bookstore booths or theater.  I've always bought the yellow and red Rush.

Think of poppers like you would wine--just for sex pigs. Just as different types of wines (red, white, dry, sweet, etc.) appeal to different types of people, the same may be said for poppers. Pick a few brands an try them out and see how you like the high each one gives. I am a long time fan of Amsterdam and Rush, and have added the Dumb Bitch Juice from Twisted Beast to the list. While at CLAW this year I tried out Video Head Cleaner (black label) and LOVED it--I was fisted for 5 hours on it at a fisting party that night. Meanwhile, Double Scorpio does nothing at all for me. But, I have friends who love Double Scorpio.

So....try everything and see what works for you. Just start out slow. Don't over inhale. Let your body get used to the high and ride those pleasure waves. Popperbating (long masturbation session while edging and huffing poppers) is a great way to do this. Don't use Viagra/Levitra/Cialis while using poppers--ever. And above all, do not use the ethyl chloride (Maximum Impact) type products, which are NOT nitrate based poppers and are actually deadly.

Following this thread as a curious to try poppers virgin.  As a once or twice a week generic brand Cialis user, I’m wondering: How many days before or after a Cialis dose would be considered safe to try poppers for the first time?

I prefer jj platinum or rush. For me poppers are a huge game changer for big toys and fisting.

The most intense brand I have used is the infamous “brown bottle” from the Leather Man on Christopher Street, NYC. I am not sure if things have changed, but in the past you could only get it at the shop and cash only. (At least it does not appear on their website.) If I can get down there, I buy the large bottle and divide it between some small bottles I have kept around.

being the avid connoisseur of poppers  that I am (said with incredible snark)....I was introduced to poppers at age 18 when my first bf brought a brown bottle back from the U.K. It was Rush. I have tried quite a number of the brands. I find that Amsterdam poppers, even Amsterdam Platinum, is really rough on the throat. Rush is good, but  Jungle Juice Platinum or Jungle Juice Black is really my go to. Love it as a bottom, when I get into stuff like the top fucking me from behind while putting his hands on my throat and squeezing tighter. As a top, don't really need them. They delay the cum, and it's kinda dribbly for me. I already take a helluva long time to cum, so it's not helpful. If you have cardiac issues, I would advise not using them. 

There's this poppers inhaler cap that makes it much more convenient to use, as it prevents spillage. I saw prices were at $44 CAD, but there are now different prices on Etsy. 

I kinda like Taiwan Blue, but it's headache in a bottle if you take one sniff too many. There's a Canada manufacturer with the brand Rochefort, but it's not sold anywhere here in Canada.
