Also remember that where the poppers are sourced from is very important. A bottle of JJ or Rush from one supplier can be different from another based on old stock, not properly stored before sale, badly made/fake poppers. If ordering online, always do your research and check reviews.

I like a variety of poppers. I buy mine online from a company I have used for years. Quite happy with them.

First time my boyfriend (at the time) and I tried them, we weren't really sure how big of a hit to take. Damn, did we learn!! We took a HUGE hit...laid us out for a while!!

So yeah, start in moderation...you'll work up to bigger hits eventually.

My one bit of advice is don't fall into the trap of storing poppers in the fridge. It took me quite a few years to figure out that keeping them in the fridge kills something in them. Basically, if I leave them at room temperature they're good to the last drop. If I put them in the fridge, then after a few days they start to hurt my nose when sniffing them. And I have to throw the bottle out. I know other people swear by it but I reckon the fridge idea is definitely bogus!

Following this thread as a curious to try poppers virgin.  As a once or twice a week generic brand Cialis user, I’m wondering: How many days before or after a Cialis dose would be considered safe to try poppers for the first time?

I suspect there's no real 'safe' window until after the effect of the Cialis has worn off. But, that said, I think the likelihood of a catastrophic impact is low. Luck of the draw, perhaps. Sure, it could happen. But not everyone experiences that. It seems like a rare thing. TBH, anytime I use poppers, I'm probably also using ED medication, Cialis or Levitra. And I've never experienced a catastrophic amplified impact. Though, I'm generally a fairly light sniffer these days.

Thanks, I appreciate your answer and information from someone with experience.

If you have normal or lower blood pressure, I'd wait until the Cialis has worn off completely. My BP is normal to low, and the first time I hopped out  of the sling after a poppered-up fuck session I hit the deck unconscious. Freaked me and everyone else out. I think I had some Cialis still in my system.

Thanks for the feedback.  I’m lucky, the Cialis effects seem to linger for 36-48 hours or more for me and I usually take 2 times a week.  Maybe I’ll take a week off if I want to try poppers some evening.

Now for the more seasoned poppers connoisseur who might be in or near NYC, I recommend the Brown Bottle from The Leather Man Store on Christopher Street. The bottom’s best friend and perfect elixir for an intense gooning session.
