That's just hookup sites. Seems to be about 90% timewasters and 10% genuine guys. Have to wade through it to find something decent. I'm pretty good at filtering out the flakes but you can never avoid them all.

I bet he got off from the hunt for home and that’s why he ghosted you. Most guys just stroke to these dating sites and apps.

I had the opposite. I was going to a top’s house to be bred. Pic exchange, got the house number all that good stuff. As I was waiting to turn into his complex he calls me and says he saw me waiting to turn and got so excited he shot his load, so leave lol. 
 

The most annoying is when a guy is in a hotel and invites me over and won’t give a room number until you’re in the parking lot then ghost you when you arrive

Based on this, I'm guessing he wanted to go through with it. But when it hit him that his fantasy was about to become a reality, he panicked and ghosted you. I try not to take it personal when this happens. It used to piss me off (it still kinda does) but I try to remember how nervous I felt when I had my first anonymous hookup.

Maybe there was something more or less accidental in his case - as some of the comments say. 
However, there are too many similar cases to be happen it every time accidentally.

Maybe the guy got so horny during the cruising game, chatting, etc, he got so horny that he shot his load after being so horny. So he closed the laptop, turned off the light and went to bed.

I think you’re right about at that. I’d say it’s 75% of the time. The other 25% I think the guy just chickens out.

But he should have been upfront and asked his questions first before agreeing to meet.

One hookup flopped on me this way: Guy drove to my place, then he was sitting in a car. And texted me about his second thoughts. He eventually went to my place, we chatted for a while, and parted ways.

Friend of mine told me the exact thing: A guy wanted to meet, then got spooked up. So friend got invited home, he was informed that the other one is not up the job, he was offered apology and then went home.

So I won't believe to some "got off" theory, cause if that was the case, he could have said that.. So this was purely intentional - he just loves to waste someones time.

Knowing the questions the young guy asked would give us some insight into why he disappeared.

Sniffies is anonymous for that very reason.

What i find unsettling about Sniffies is you set up a time, and in my case, I gave out my address. Since there is security here, he needed my last name to gain entrance. 
 

So what happens, he doesn’t show. However he has my location and my name now.  I have posted in the past that my previous apartment should have had a turnstile out front, with all the guys coming in and out, and in and out. Guys knocking on the wrong door at 2 am, looking for me.  The neighbors below and next to me were happy to see me go.

So I ask the question, do I give up my security to live in a place where the neighbors know a true whore lives amongst them? I am sensing that guys don’t want to give too much information to gain “access” to me.

i suppose “hosting” is not an option for me like it once was. I guess becoming friends with the attendant at the guard shack is the way to go while I wait for my Lyft ride at 1 am.

God, I just can’t win.

I have experienced the same on Sniffies. I was just wondering the other day if there are lots of flakes or do I just attract the handful of nutjobs? Yesterday, a guy hits me up and I responded with why do you keep choosing me for your disapppearing act.  Then he really disappeared.  He has made plans 3 times and then disappeared. Am also getting peppered with questions after exchanging pix, giving my location and agreeing to host.  Lately, Ive just been circling bsck around to previous guys. They always show up.

God, I just can’t win.

That’s why I prefer to travel or book a sleazy motel room.  Too often (I say this with respect) I don’t want those people in my home or knowing too much about me.

Theft is real.  I’ve had many more men in my hole than in my home.
