But we want to avoid throwing the baby out with the bathwater. • if where it not for vaccines, in our recent history, majority of the human population would have struggled with a lot of more disease and death than we did since the acceptance and use of Vaccines as a way of preventing some disease. 
• Vaccines are safe. The human population has shown to use vaccines without any adverse effect.

I just wonder how many AIDS related programs (such as ADAP, for the uninsured or underinsured) will be eliminated if he is appointed?

I know there is currently a "pause" on many social service programs and that is not at his direction AT THE MOMENT, but his whack job theories on the causes of  multiple illnesses as well as vaccines (most of which he is now denying) really worries me.  Granted the elimination of these programs will not have his signature on the memo, but he will have input into their importance.

There are so many programs that the average American (not just those with HIV or AIDS) take for granted, that should he be appointed these may "go away".

Over the years, I can speak from personal experience I have benefited from multiple programs that provided  basic needs.   Not things that afforded me some kind of luxurious lifestyle but just having access to copays being covered, utilities being turned on, dental assistance  and access to food being increased.  Granted some of the programs were run by the state I live in but it was a "trickle down" effect, managed by local and state agencies.  The bottom line is, these programs were funded by some sort of Federal assistance.  People can say, oh no it came from my state, my state gave me those benefits.  Not really.    If this moron gets into power he may give his input to those who will eliminate many of the programs that assist a number of people on this Forum.

Let's hope and pray (if you pray) he's not confirmed.

The two health issues, contaminants in the food chain and vaccines are not mutually exclusive, but can be worked on together to ensure better health outcomes. Reducing the number of contaminants (chemicals, micro plastic etc) in the food suppy chain and using vaccines for diseases that already exist  will keep us at our healthy best. 

I am unsure of the real cause of Polio, and if chemicals where the real cause. I am willing to concede that human interventions aka agricultural chemicals are likely to have influenced/accelerated  the growth and development of the polio virus—co-relation rather than causation. However, unfortunately, that is history and we cannot put the genie back into the bottle.

We have to work with what we have; vaccinees for existing conditions and elimination of contaminants seem like the most reasonable and prudent approach to take.

With most vaccines, their history of success is enough info for all adults & parents to justify the proven miniscule risk. Polio 🧐, the vaccine has saved MILLIONS. Smallpox had been eliminated worldwide until people stopped getting vaccinated - we have a recurrence. Influenza vaccines have saved untold elderly & immunosuppressed people from extremely painful illness & DEATH. 

People NATURALLY turn to proven results rather than knee-jerk ramblings of a person, RFK, with an agenda that could actually be beneficial to societal health.

All he wants is that all vaccines should be put through the normal trial phases to test for safety and efficacy. The Covid-19 vaccine was not subjected to such testing. That makes him an anti vaxxer?

Even Fauci admitted that requiring COVID vaccine mandates would cause hesitancy on other vaccines which has been proven true. I find it hilarious that the 2 senators attacking RFKjr the most today were Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren both who are bought and paid for by Big pharma

When I was 8, we moved to a new town. I had a friend whose sister was in an iron lung. I never saw her other than in the machine. My friend shared a bedroom with her, so I saw her every time I went to their house. As I recall, she died a few months after I moved to the town. 

Shortly after that I remember lining up to get the polio vaccine on a sugar cube. It was remarkable homoow quickly the polio threat disappeared.

Anyone who doesn't believe in vaccines either has a screw loose or needs a serious rethink of their sources of information. Masking and vaccinations have kept me safe from covid. Hooray for the Mpox vaccinations. And from experience I know you don't want to get shingles, so if you're over 50 get the vaccination!

I fear we're headed to a bird flu pandemic and we'll be even less prepared than we were for covid. Maybe ivermectin will work. Or perhaps bleach injections.
