😰😰😰I am so sorry for ALL you guys. I do not necessarily give ALL my support for Australian Fed & State governments but, I am SOOOO APPRECIATIVE of our health care system.

This provides most requirements from free or subsidised hospital & GP care, along with our PBS (Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme). My ART's, some cost $1500+ AUD a bottle, I get for $6.00/bottle & after a certain amount $250.?? (I think) they are provided free.

We also have many clinics providing specialist LGB+ care (usually gay, lesbian doctors) & their knowledge of current information is Top class & tests / vaccines are regularly offered without needing to ask.

NB: Trump blew up today complaining that our PBS was causing cost profit issues with US drug manufacturers. Who'd have thought it🤣🤣🤣. Both party leaders have "PROMISED" 🤨 continued support if tariffs are introduced by Trump on medicines.

bUT yOuR iNCoMe TAx!! Ugh, I'm jealous - the $75 per-visit co-pay and hundred$ they take from each paycheck helps ensure I don't go too often, I just figured it'd be good to have a clean bill of health before we invade Canada and Greenland and Mexico and Iran and *checks daily news...* 🙃

You got diagnosed with HPV, they were willing to do approve the vaccine after diagnosis? I know t covers a bunch of subtypes, or was it as treatment? If you don't mind what's your age? They never studied/evaluated in middle age 45 year old+ so FDA hasn't approve -> insurance doesn't usually pay and doctors hesitant to prescribe often 😞 Maybe I need to catch it 🙂 so insurance would approve as treatment LOL?

My gay doc explained that a lot of insurance companies do not cover the HPV test for males since the FDA & CDC are fixated on "15-year-old farm girls from Kansas," not gay men of any age, although HPV is very prevalent in the gay/bi community. He mentioned that I might be required to pay the test costs myself if my insurance company did not cover it. I told him to proceed. Luckily Blue Cross/Blue Shiels PPO, my health insurance company, covered the costs.

I'm hoping the TESTS will be covered probably would be. But I'm asking are you over 45 years old and did Insurance cover the VACCINATIONS? The vaccines NOT Including doctor injection visits are at least $170 per dose with GoodRX. Did they do 3 doses or 2?

I'm 74...and yes, my insurance covered all three of my vaccinations.
