Do you like hooking up as a stress relief mechanism?

I'm firmly in the "yes", and "it depends". It only works for me if I am somewhere I can hookup successfully in a short amount of time. 

I have been dealing with some high stress at work for about a month now, and am at home in Portland this week, where I probably won't even try to hookup as a coping mechanism. While it might work out (it did actually happen this weekend when I wasn't as desperate as I am right now), the odds are definitely against me. I will more likely wind up giving up after a couple of hours even more frustrated than I am right now in one or a combination of scenarios: 1) I'm the only one at what ever cruising venue(s) I try; 2)there will be other cruiser, but no one is hooking up or are there just for attention not a physical act and relief; 3)someone who doesn't fuck will take an interest in me and try to convince me there way of not fucking is infinitely better and will have to leave because they won't accept no for an answer, and because guys here don't generally like groups no one else will even approach while you are engaged by the time waster. 

Alternatively I was working at the client location for the last 2 weeks and even though I didn't really know where to go I was able to instinctively sniff out the locations where like minded guys go to fuck or at least suck out their frustrations and was able to find a couple of spots where I could be fucking or getting fucked within 15 -20 minutes. I've taken advantage of it a time or twenty over the course of the weeks I've worked in other locations this summer. I'm open enough and am told I give off an intense sexual vibe that works for me even in small to medium sized cities in most geographical areas. 

The openness generally works against me in the PNW, I attract lots of time wasters that invite me to join them non-penetrative activities, but not actually fuck.

That's a big "Yes" and "Definitely". Work is miserable and stressful, what with departments getting gutted and ending up pigeonholed in a role because you are the best they got. Sex may only be a temporary distraction, but it is a "welcum" one. Plus being a bottom and having someone else in control for a change is huge.

Not always true, I had 2 different bottoms get me hard and then just turn around impale themselves on my dick while traveling for work this month. Of course I didn't resist and have been known to do it as a bottom myself at times. I just wish it would happen near where I live and guys wouldn't get pissed off when I try it as a bottom locally.
