Gym coach or teacher showering with the team?

For those of you who had group showers after gym class or sports, did your coach or teacher join you in the showers?

I was the equipment manager of my schools football team and yes coaches all showered with the team

Oh god yes. I think I wrote about this elsewhere on the site. It's one of things I attributed later on to my penchant for short furry guys. I went to a University lab school and so a lot of our teachers were graduate students at the University. Mr. T was one of those. He was probably 5'5", very furry, Italian, no beard but  one of those guys who has to shave an hour after doing so, muscled but not overly worked out. GREAT super hairy ass. Basically HOT HOT HOT.

He started an after school running club, very casual you could just show up and we'd run a few miles. Then we'd come back and shower in the tiny locker room of the 1930s era gym.

Came many times thinking about him.

Growing up in the 60s and 70s, coaches and gym teachers were always nearby if ever there was a need, but they showered separately from students.

So I attended a jr high school that had just been built a year or two prior.  The gyms, swimming pool, P.E. area was in what one could call a "wing" of the building, attached - but not a part of the rest of the building.  

Picture the coaches office as a small square room-ette jutting into  the much larger boys lockerroom/shower area.  His office had only half-walls (from the floor to maybe a height of about 4', and completely glass the rest of the way to the ceiling*.  More, when guys started arriving at the locker room for swimming class, picking a locker, starting to strip, etc - so did the coach.  He would be watching every guy, never looking at what he was doing, and yes, he was what one would call "built".  He was decent-looking, had a decent-sized cock, and drove a bright red Olds Delta 88 convertible. And, my mom remembered him from when she was in highschool - said he was suuuuuch a nice guy, blah blah blah.  I remember one guy who regularly got a hardon, and received a nickname I can't quite remember for it.  Some of the guys were a little more "advanced" in their maturity, others not at all yet. I was always cold - the a/c was always turned on in the pool room - maybe to discourage the inevitable.

Now.  What kind of story did the coach spin to the architect, convincing him to build an "office" like that?  Or was the architect "in" on the scene too?
