  1. Mr S and Mr B both call this style a "Top Harness". It's also basically the top half of an oldstyle full body harness.

I can't find one online that has the exact same arrangement of cock ring and snap hooks as the centrepiece, though. That photo seems to be from a Falcon Studios porno. Perhaps there's a clothing credit somewhere. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

There may be different reasons some guys bottom, one of which may be the component of submission in their nature.ย  Submissives are usually bottoms, and Dominants usually aren't.ย  But that isn't carved into some mountainside somewhere.ย

Too right! Bottoming isn't about submission, necessarily. It's primarily about getting your ring set on fire with that lovely flesh on flesh friction! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I can't stand the whole set of Dom/sub assumptions and role play around much of gay sex play and discussion. I definitely ain't sub. But I am definitely bottom!

And I say I'm a bottom so there's no confusion about what I'm looking for. What my expectations are for a hookup. Unfortunately, because I'm reasonably hung, as soon as guys see my dick they're usually begging ME to fuck THEM! Definitely 95% bottoms in the gay world! (IMHO, of course! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ)

Frankly topping's just not something I've ever really gotten off on. Just doesn't feel as exciting to me. Never has. I do it in group situations to contribute to the overall fun for others. But it's definitely not my preference. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  3. This question is kinda conflicting for guys that like me that love their faces being painted in cum. I love to swallow, especially ropey jets flushing straight down the back of my throat. But I also want it warm and wet all over my face. Rubbed all over so I have my beauty mask! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ How to get both? Other than with several guys varying it up? I've had that a few times at sex venues but it's all a bit hit and miss! ๐Ÿคช

lets not pretend prep wasnt a game changer. swallow in 1983 - you had a deathwish. swallow in 2023 - you earned it bitch! swallow every load u can find

... not really. I think swallowing toxic cum, especially straight down your throat, is/was safer than swirling it around your mouth and savouring the taste, or spitting it out and leaving the remnants around your gums, etc. The saliva but especially the stomach hydrochloric acid kills most of the HIV, from my understanding. Anyway, it worked for me! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  5. Nope. "Gay" is *very* Australian! (For example) ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Although, there are always ongoing attempts to wear things down with the ever-expanding queer alphabet. But I strongly believe there's value in the history, continuity and 'fuck you' value of a word like "gay". "Lesbian" too! There's real value, including for visibility and political power, in the offence that straight-fetishists take to even just hearing or seeing those words. All over the world! ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŒ

  6. Several years ago, I went to a bar in Cologne (Pullermans) that had videos shot in the backroom one night a week. Was pretty liberating to be sucking and fucking in a bar and being video'd having sex in public like that with a mask on. Don't think the videos were ever put on the web, though. Not that I've found anyway.

  7. You certainly miss out on some pleasures with a condom - eg the feeling of being fucked with cum as lube, which is actually pretty amazing. Slightly abrasive and sends my ring sizzling with feeling. But TBH, I was being fucked with condoms only for about 40 years after HIV arrived, and I can't say I noticed much difference, really. Being fucked was still great! ๐Ÿ˜‰ย It certainly feels different for tops, though, and on the rare occasions I top, the feeling without a condom is incredibly more intense. Silky and stimulating the entire length of the shaft, tip to base. I hadn't actually realised the difference until I was on PrEP.

  8. Has your friend's issues settled down? Weird headaches are a common side effect when starting but usually dies down, according to the literature. Mine took a couple of months to diminish. I also had weird bad dreams for weeks. And tingling but I think that was in my fingers. The headaches were so intense initially that it put me off the idea of event-based dosing, which was my original plan. The sexual health clinic doctors indicated the side effects might reapply each time I restarted. So I've stuck to daily for over six years. No side effects at all after the first few months.

  9. First bareback fuck was my first proper fuck. I'd recently got my driver's licence and used to "borrow" mum's car to go for "practice drives" but was often going to meet up with guys from the personal ads in the local newspaper (we're talking 1979 here! ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ). I was naked with guy I'd met a couple times, sixty nining and such like. He was sucking me and rimming me. I was just eyes closed, legs in the air and blissed out when he stuck his hard cock in me and started fucking. It was the *most* amazing feeling I'd ever had up to that point and blew my mind so much I've been addicted to being fucked ever since. Even though I'm fairly hung myself. Anyway, it didn't take too long for my tight virgin arse to milk his cock to explosion. ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ Leaving me with a wet pool of love inside my love tunnel which was absolutely on fire with feeling and incredible lust. ๐Ÿคช I only ever got fucked raw for the next few years until about 1984. Then condoms only until about six years ago when I started taking PrEP. Haven't had a condom since then. TBH I didn't really notice any difference in feeling with condoms as a bottom. I certainly do feel the difference when I top, which is making that experience more enjoyable lately. But that's pretty rare, and usually only in group situations where I feel I have to contribute to the overall experience. There's so many bottoms in this world! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

    ย

So, the question of whether to bareback or not simply didn't come up my first few times. It just wasn't an issue you considered back then. The reason I wanted to return to it and absolutely love it now is *cum* ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ and the more holistic experience of having it everywhere - inside me, on me, down my throat and rubbing it all over my arse, face, pits, chest. Especially when soaked all over in sweat from sex in hot weather. ๐Ÿคช Love it!

  10. I'm in. Recently moved to Sydney. Mostly pick up through BBRT, Squirt and Grindr, so far. All with their own quirks! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Don't get much love from Recon but I like the pics there. Lots of contact from Scruff but guys rarely, if ever, come across on that app. For me, anyway! ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I think it's also important to remember that the correct comparison for the effectiveness of prep is not with abstinence: it's with the effectiveness of condoms.

All the data indicates that in 'real world' (as opposed to laboratory) conditions, condoms are less effective than PreP at preventing HIV: they can slip off, break, tops can take them off deliberately, etc.

The paper posted by @fuckholedc confirms that poor adherence is responsible for most cases of Prep 'Failure' with only 7 of the 52 participants infected while on PreP (out of 1030 total) reporting excellent adherence (and they might have been lying about their adherence). As someone who has mostly used event-based dosing the past couple of years, and who has sometimes had logistical issues in acquiring PreP, I can confirm that it's easy to miss a dose or to be unsure if you missed one if you don't have a regular routine of taking it every day.

The only way to guarantee you will not be infected by HIV is to abstain from sex. However, it's fair to say that combining PreP AND Condom use would probably reduce your risk to infinitesimally low.

and a summary of that study: [think before following links] [think before following links] https://www.sfaf.org/collections/beta/how-well-do-condoms-protect-gay-men-from-hiv/

An important difference nowadays, though, is that many guys, top and bottom, will refuse condom use. So, sadly, the comparison of PrEP or nothing probably is valid in many situations. I've never had anyone refuse because I take PrEP. Thankfully! ๐Ÿ™

  12. Neg on PrEP here. Occasional 420 and amyl only. Don't really understand the 'negativity' towards PrEP (no pun intended!) in some posts here. I reckon itย may be the salvation we've been looking for, along with good treatments, to eliminate HIV and protect our own special community! I'm on daily PrEP and haven't really had a condom in me in six years. Well, maybe one or two when I wasn't looking! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ But I am also still a bit cautious. Not sure I want to test the absolute limits of PrEP. I will take multiple loads occasionally at saunas and sex parties. But tend to filter sero status on apps to neg and undetectable. I reckon if they are publicly claiming that, then the risk is at least a bit lower. I definitely want to avoid becoming poz, with it's health and medication implications. Peace all.
