My next question is why can't I upload any more pics? I just spent FOREVER editing a ton of photo files to match the requirements but every time I attempt it it says "Upload failed" or "file cannot be loaded."
Am I going to have to create a google album I can share and post a link through instead? Would that be easier? I just liked the idea of having my galleries all in one place.

If you are trying to attach them in forum posts, you have probably hit your attachment space limit. Post them in gallery albums instead. You can manage your inline attachments using the "my attachments" option in the drop down menu from your screen name in upper left corner.
For answers to these sorts of issues, try looking in the tips and tricks forum.

I'm not trying to post them in Forums nor have I hit my attachment space limit, I have checked that. I am trying to post them in gallery albums or in my own personal albums/status updates and they will not maintain the hyperlinks inserted into the text field via the "link" button on the toolbar or load the files successfully despite changing file types, file compression, file format, general size, etc. I have ensured all are properly saved according to the guidelines and limitations listed. It tells me there is an "error" and it fails to upload anything into the albums/gallery. As far as the inline attachments, it's limited to how many I can post before I run out of space or hit the file limit. I've also taken into account the fact that I can't post as frequently as a higher end user and considered the possibility that my account is restricted due to "newb" status but I can't confirm that as I don't know what my initial account restrictions are.
I have already browsed the tips and tricks forum multiple times and have yet to find a work around or way to post/share them. I have attempted several different ways to do this and each has been met with failure despite the information provided there. Also, I'm not sure if that was meant to be genuine advice or an unnecessary statement of the obvious (which is how it reads)...either way it didn't provide me with an answer to my issues.
Directly taken from a forum post: "I'm new here (joined Friday night)s, and am having terrible problems creating and using albums and posting pics to them. I'm aware of the file size limitations and have usable photos that the site seems to accept. I create a new album and name it, etc., and then select my photos for it. Everything seems to be OK, and all the photos are showing. I then click "submit" and the site says it's uploading them. But then, the screen disappears and it says that the number of photos in my album is zero. However, if I then click on the album from my profile, while still saying zero pics are in there, it shows 2 or 3 of the photos I've uploaded and no more. Then, I try to upload more photos into it but cannot - when I go through the steps and select choose an existing album, I'm given a black screen and there's no album shown to select, even though the album is still in my profile and there's an album tab. Because I don't just want 2 or 3 of the random pics I selected to be in the album, and the description of the album on the site still says there are no photos in it, I then end up deleting the album and all the pictures in it, and try to start over. However, from that point, the system won't let me create anymore albums - it simply says that an error resulted. Each day I go through this process and once I'm effectively locked out from creating new albums or uploading more photos because of the system error message, I have to wait until the next day, and I start the process again with the same result. This is driving me crazy - what is wrong here?"
"Still cannot access galleries or upload vids, some pics.still not working."
Those are the only applicable forum posts I found and it solved nothing.

Sorry to be less than helpful. I'm a content moderator, and while I can sometimes figure out what's going wrong, often I can't, as I have no access to the back end. Which is also not really built to handle modern high bandwidth content, so it may just be broken. Referring you to Yips & Tricks was by no means meant as an insult; for many users, alas, it would not be an unnecessary statement of the obvious.
