Fuckbook has Nothing to do with Mania Media what it was that at first I was getting all this stuff from Fuckbook and then all spam had stopped. Several months later I received this message on Bear411 from some guy in Quebec asking for my email and when I had done a movie for Bearfilms. Gave them the info, thought they could be a fan or something..then I got an email from some guy named "Boyd" telling me Bearfilms is now Mania Media and he is a lawyer and unless the movie I had made was less than 2 years old then I am not to use any photos from my Bearfilms photo shoot online anywhere or otherwise I could be in trouble. I deleted it. After three more of these emails ( I delete those ) I emailed "Rob" at Mania Media. he told me not to worry about it, won't be in trouble and such. The thing about Mania Media...ever since I got that email from this guy named "Boyd" I have been getting tons of spam for other sex sites that I have no interest in at all, can't say its a connection between the two but the only porn site I go to is Bearfilms...ok this one too LOL. As I was typing my response received another spam email for a site called www.pretty-sites.com is this site a part of Mania Media ???

The good......no longer getting Fuckbook sufff. The bad...ever since Bearfilms is now under Mania Media been getting a ton of spam for sex sites like "Eurocream", "UK Naked Guys" and"....Hot Whores from Japan".....oh yeah...also been getting a number of emails from some lawyer out of Montreal saying his client is Mania Media and because the movie I did for them was 5 years old then I need to take down my pics that were shot by Bearfilms or otherwise I may find myself in "big trouble". Not exactly sure what this "big trouble" will be but I have noticed recently many former "actors" who had done movies for them no longer use any of their Bearfilms photos on their profiles. Maybe someone really was sued.....anyway new email address for me.

A few weeks ago I had recived this email from a friend on Facebook asking if I would be interested in attending a bareback party at the Compound ( a bar ). Due to work I couldn't go of course but also I have to admit that when I first received that e-invite I thought it was a joke. Sex ??...In a BAR ??? OK are the Denver bars have now gotten liberal when it comes to this or is it bullshit ?? I guess if a bar offers a "private party" and be selective as to whom can get it such as what Bearfilms had done at the Wrangler several years ago..I guess in situations like that it could be possible but dunno...

I was actually at Midtowne recently. Had a very interesting conversation with one of their employees. Apparently some of the more younger folks ( twinks and cubs ) have been trying to get Midtowne to set aside time for them as in no older guys..aka "trolls".....just hot young guys only. I guess they got the idea from Aurora, Colorado's "swingers motel" The Mon Chalet and their policy with single males. At Mon they are allowed to be there only four hours in the afternoon unless they get a room otherwise its strictly couples and single females. Anyway what works for Mon Chalet chances are won't work for DSC and Midtowne as the employee @ Midtowne said to me "...it's not happening...we will lose money if we did this". The local Denver Front Range Bears last year somewhat did this sort of thing. Some of the younger members ( cubs ) wanted to make their annual pool party into a strictly naked bear/cub pool/sex party. First it was open to all...then only to members but very soon after that the cubs wanted to be more picky as in only sexy daddies be there. Result a lot of guys even some who were members such as myself were not invited. First I was given the address of the event and was told to bring beer, then told a week before the event it was "cancelled" only to see pics of this pool party pop up online the day after the event. One of the cubs of the group told me that "..we didn't want you there...you aren't a bear much less a daddy". Oh well !! Anyway after doing this sort of thing with other guys it was a of no surprise to learn that Front Range Bears had lost money last year.

The Denver Swim Club is still around. Not sure about now but back in the late 80s they were very very VERY picky as to whom they would allow in. In 1989 I was a student at the University of Denver. One day heard a group of guys talking about this place so I decided to check it out. At the time ( so they said anyway ) that they did not sell memberships at the door but I did receive a card by the man on duty to call some guy named Mike Ball at 3pm on Wednesday to discuss memberships. Never did reached Mr. Ball as it was one thing after other on their part. Not long after that I heard that the Denver Swim Club had pulled this shit with others as if like they didn't want the business. Moved back to Denver 6 years ago and even today I still hear from guys about how "picky" the Denver Swim Club is when it comes to who they will allow in while others say that the DSC allows all guys in. It makes for an active debate here. Myself...no interest in the DSC since I discovered Midtowne though rumor is they are cutting back.

The Jasmine window...never got that on Xtube but I have got it on Tube8 and Pornhub. Xtube spam..I guess I am the "unlucky" one with that. Awhile back he posted the email on on his Facebook page, kinda surprised the number of guys around Denver who had received the same spam email in response to trying to hook up on Craigslist...but then again....

About Xtube...lately when I visit their site to check out their vids I am noticing I am getting more and more spam ( mostly stuff for FuckBook and lesbian sites ). Last week I didn't go to Xtube at all result no spam but last night I did for an hour only to discover when I checked my email this morning that I had received 10 spam emails for all lesbians plus 4 "friend requests" for FuckBook ( thats a scam by itself ). Anyone having this sort of thing happening to them?

Apparently Bearfilms over the years had made videos of some very raunchy stuff but unfortunately for some unknown reason those videos were never released ( I assume they are in some office in Palm Springs ). For the last several weeks I have been getting tons of email asking me to join the "adult" version of Facebook called FuckBook. Of course a lot of this email is spam actually some of their mail is kinda laughable such as "...The Front Range Bears got some hot pussy last night. Lots of hot chicks !! They belong to FuckBook...join FuckBook and get laid TONIGHT !!"..yeah like the Front Range Bears are into, well pussy anyway. I know most if not all the guys there..I have doubts they are "bi". Spam aside, are you on FuckBook ? Is it for real, got lucky there? Or is FuckBook not worth the time? BearTrapping.com was like that..easy to join but pure HELL to delete one's profile on there .

My guess is that because Southern Decadence attracts so many gay men and women despite the possible issues such as "crimes against nature" ( same thing in Virginia ) they feel its somehow a "safe haven" even if it may not be as in your case and Mardi Gras. Kinda like the many of bear runs out there. Back in 2006 my partner and myself had attended Bear Invasion in Washington DC. At the hotel one afternoon I saw a guy sucking off another bear in the elevator ( both were totally nude ) despite the fact that there were CHILDREN staying at the hotel. Nobody got caught as far as I know but still....actually looking back now I am a bit surprised nobody had ever got busted for having sex in the open at any of these bears runs. If somebody had I would imagine it would had made the local news. Today its more/less "play safe" is the rule. This past summer our local Front Range Bears had two "naked" pool parties, in the past anybody could attend however today only those who were "invited" by select members on Facebook can come. The first party my partner was invited but I wasn't. even though I am a member too. At first I was pissed but the way things are now I understand.

What about Baltimore ?? Even though I have heard over the years that city has "cleaned up" they still have the Baltimore Eagle. Always wanted to visit there but never did. Meanwhile down in Virginia, as recently as five years ago Richmond had its share of action. The best pool parties I had ever been too were sponsored by the Richmond Bears. So many guys of all types attending those. Barcode was a hot bar at the time too. haven't been there since 2006, not sure what it is like now though ). The Richmond Bears pool parties though are sadly history because the two guys who had hosted them ( Cary & Greg ) are now both in bad health plus Cary's parents have since filled in that pool. UGH !!! Hampton Roads ( Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Newport News )....myself I don't know but I do have many gay friends who live there and despite the area being in Pat Robertson backyard, they say that the Virginia Beach oceanfront can be quite interesting at night. I guess if one is into military guys that area may be of interest. Now the rest of Virginia..one may want to avoid the western part such as the Shenandoah Valley. Towns such as Harrisonburg, Winchester and Front Royal are actually a hotbed for those so-called ex-gays ( goggle "ex" lesbian Lisa Miller for example ) . A lot of gay men live in that region but a lot of them are too scared to do anything. A few years ago someone tried to to do a bear run in Winchester. Nobody showed up. Same two guys the next year tried to do another one this time in nearby Martinsburg, West Virginia...no takers. Not a surprise since West Virginia isn't exactly for the most part gay friendly either. Roanoke on the other hand IS gay friendly. A few bars and they do have the Mountain Bear Madness...sounds cool eh? Well it is but don't expect much in the way of barebacking much less poz breeding. Not too many guys there are into that. When I was considering joining the Virginia Mountain Bears several years ago not only did I NOT find any guy who liked to bareback but I actually got yelled at by many guys there for even thinking about it in the first place.
