I am a Philadelphian, Btm!. I have no immediate plans for traveling across the Atlantic, but when I make my next trip I will have increased justification for traveling outside of metropolitan London. My travels to Europe have largely been focused on Rome, London and Paris, in that order, but I have visited extensively throughout Italy (north of Naples), and more cursory visits along the Mediterranean coasts of France and Spain, along the Atlantic and North Sea coast of France. My visits to England have always been gratifying, but exclusively focused on London and its environs. I think I became first interested in Yorkshire as a consequence of reading The Secret Garden, by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and reading A Woman of Substance, by Barbara Taylor Bradford furthered my interest.
